Paid Members Snake Plissken Posted October 31, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2011 Donald Cerrone has his wish of one more fight this year at UFC 141 vs. Nate Diaz. That's going to be a very interesting fiight.
jimufctna24
I would highly recomend UFC Primetime that aired last night. Â Both JDS and Cain came across as very likable and somehow made me look forward to the fight more than I was previous.

That should be an awesome fight!!! Bit disappointed that 1 of the 2 will get knocked down a peg or 2 by losing, but it should be a decent scrap

METAL ON METAL
A leading sports website in Brazil is reporting (here) that The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil will start in March, the two coaches will be none other than - Anderson Silva & Vitor Belfort. Â The coaches won't be fighting at the end of it though, as obviously Anderson is fighting Sonnen. Â It should still be awesome, although if we want to watch it we will have to do so with subtitles. Â Edit: UFC have shot down reports that Anderson & Belfort will be coaches, none have been picked yet.

Surely it would make sense to have a Brazil vs USA show, with both Anderson & Sonnen coaching their respective countries?
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted November 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 1, 2011 Don't know how well the Americans would react to having Sonnen as 'their' coach though? I watched Sonnen/Stann at a packed bar in New York & the boo's for Chael from everyone in there were (surprisingly) immense.

We got stuck with Bisping as "our" coach, didn't we?

I'm highlighting the best way to incorporate Anderson Silva & Brazil into the Ultimate Fighter. Mike said that Americans wouldn't want Sonnen as their coach, which may be true, but what else would you have them do then? Put a different US fighter against Silva on the show, only for him to fight Sonnen afterwards?
mickfan
Ross Pearson's featherweight debut has been confirmed, he will fight Junior Assuncao at UFC 141 in Las Vegas on Dec 30th. Â WARRRR PEARSON!! Frank Lester said on his twitter his Ross' first sparring at 145lb he KO'd someone with a headkick. Â Anyone watch Askren vs Hieron from Bellator at the weekend? Got love for Askren. Just the kind of pure wrestler I love. I thought it was a great fight.
