Nice of the Rangers fans to make sure that the clean-up team at Celtic Park would have to work late on Wednesday;

Happens at every Old Firm game from the away support. Not condoning it, just saying both sets of supporters regulary do it.

Not just at every Old Firm game, some other games too. You get some right idiots in teams away supports.

Yeah it happens up here all the time. Rangers/Celtic always get sent the bill (and from what I've been told pay pretty quickly).

It's no big deal really. It probably does us a favour as our seats in the away section are a shambles.

I'm a big Coisty fan, but I'm thinking Ally did start it.

Look at the footage with no Rangers or Celtic blinkers on. Lennon leans over, all is forgiven, McCoist then whispers sweet nothings in Neilos ear, and the ginger one flys off the freaking handle.

It seems to be generally accepted that Ally suggested that Lennon should keep away from Rangers' players - probably "stay the fuck away from my players". Lennon's reply was allegedly "you shouldn't sign shit like Diouf then".

He's not far wrong but there's no reason to get as angry as he did about it.

Suspect package addressed to Celtic's Neil Lennon intercepted in post

The fall-out from Wednesday's fiery Old Firm derby has taken a more sinister turn after a suspicious package addressed to the Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, was intercepted at a Royal Mail sorting office in Ayrshire.

The parcel, which is believed to have emanated from Lanarkshire and made to look like it contained an explosive device, was stopped in Saltcoats on Friday morning. It was addressed to Lennon at Celtic's stadium. The manager was accompanied by security officials as he attended Friday's training session with his squad.

A Strathclyde police spokesman said: "We can confirm we are currently investigating a suspicious package discovered at a Royal Mail sorting office in Chapelwell Street, Saltcoats. The package was examined and the incident is being treated as a hoax. Enquiries are ongoing."

Lennon missed Celtic's weekly pre-match media conference on Friday as security talks continued over the affair. It comes in the immediate aftermath of Wednesday's game, at the end of which Lennon clashed on the touchline with the Rangers assistant manager, Ally McCoist.

In January, a package containing bullets and also addressed to Lennon was intercepted in Northern Ireland. A report last month claimed the 39-year-old had received a subsequent death threat from a paramilitary organisation.

What a sad little country we live in.

Apparently he's been under 24hr surveillance and has required bodyguard protection after his previous death threat last week.

But it's his own fault, he brings it all on himself, it's just the type of player / manager he is......

Thats small fry compared to Leeds / Millwall / Cardiff in recent years David.

As Ally said that stuff isn't usually picked up on or makes much news cos they are as bad as each other and the favour will be duly returned in the next fixture at Ibrox.

And? Is that some sort of excuse for behaviour like that?

Rangers fans hatred of Lennon is actually worrying. The more he wins, the bigger a target he seems to become.

It has always been worrying. Bullets in the post and explosives in the mail are just additions to the catalogue; assaulted on the street twice, rammed off the road in his car with his wee girl, the hangman outside his house...the guy is subjected to a horrible existence because of these knuckle-draggers.

What is even more concerning is that one of these morons who wishes and condones grevious bodily harm on Lennon is actually a paying member of this forum.

I'm just saying it's not really that big a deal and has been going on the a long time. Flooding toilets, ripping pipes off the wall, trashing food outlets and all that sort of stuff is nothing new just doesn't usually get much coverage as it's tit-for-tat and both as bad as each other.

Just because he has a fiver to spare every twelve months and a penchant for pro wrestling doesn't mean he's not a prick like the rest though Soapy.
