LariatTom
Anyone catch Le Mans? Absolutely fantastic race really, a couple of huge and rather scary shunts for McNish and Rockenfeller, but a great fairytale story for the lone Audi to come home and take the victory. Â That safety car last night lasted well over two hours, so this wait for the F1 race to get back underway isn't really bothering me...they're running out of things to say on commentary. For a while, Brundle and DC sounded a bit like listening to TMS. Â What did Hamilton do? I've only just turned it on, completely forgot there was F1 this weekend. Â On the start (well, after the safety car) he went up the inside of Webber and spun him around. He was under investigation for that, AND for breaking the speed time while under the safety car. He then went to pass Button on the pit straight, went into a gap that wasn't really there since Button was on the racing line and is out. Â 10 laps, three stewards investigations and a retirement. He doesn't waste time. Incidentally, Niki Lauda has said on German TV that Hamilton needs to calm down before someone is killed. Lauda might be being a bit extreme there, but he does have a point. Paid Members martyngnr Posted June 12, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted June 12, 2011 Brundle and Coulthard really were struggling for banter there. Â Can't believe they used the "Racecar backwards" line!

Fan of Arse
Lariat - It was Button that got a drive through penalty for speeding under the safety car. Â Hamilton would have got one as well but he was out before they'd confirmed it.

denzel_maggiore
Fantastic finish. Would have been sweeter if Schumacher would of won for old times sake. Vettel must be gutted, but he will win the championship anyway.
patiirc
Seriously one of the best drives Ive EVER seen by Button.. Reminds us of Senna at Donnington in the wet, from Last Place to win basically.. AMAZING!

denzel_maggiore
Is Button/Hamilton incident still due to be investigated at the end of the race? Â No don't think so. As Hamilton was already out the race so they just let it go I think.
