Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted December 23, 2011 Author Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2011 How did he lose the rights to his own books? Â It was something along the lines of "an ex-friend and business partner screwed me " and I think they were essentially self/vanity published deals, so possibly the ex-friend was the publisher. The Paypal donate thing was so he could continue to spread the truth, and afford to take the guy to court so he could get them back. The bloody Man again! But if he's the writer, then he's the copyright holder and he can re-publish that material elsewhere in a manner that benefits his pockets more. Â Remember we're talking about the kind of idiot that literally thinks the Queen is a 12 feet tall lizard from space. He's not the smartest guy. Paid Members Kookoocachu Posted December 23, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2011 Honestly, if you were just to talk to him without knowing who he was you would never in a million years think he could think the way he does. Especially if he went down the route of self-publishing his books. The hallmark of an idiot. Saying that, he's doing not too bad shifting them now I guess. I'm sure I've seen his stuff stocked in the likes of Waterstone's and WH Smith.

David
What? It is. He's obviously regretting it now, isn't he? If his stuff was good enough to sell it would have gotten picked up by an actual publisher, wouldn't it? David
Yeah. I see from Amazon that he's still self-publishing by the looks of it. David Icke books? Â EDIT: What's with the funny gifs and sucklike? Does that TwoSheds guy self-publish his stuff? If so, I meant no offence. David
Oh, right. I thought Woy told me a little while ago that his stuff was only available on the Kindle? My apologies then, big fella. King Pitcos
On the subject of self-publishing (but way off-topic for this thread), has anyone been following the Louis CK thing? He's just self-distributed his new stand up show online, and made over a million from it so far. Of course, he's already famous because of being part of the machine. Rey_Piste
He did give 280 grand to charity from the profits of it. It goes to show how with the internet you can cut out the middleman on things like this and make a tidy profit.
Trevor
He gave a quarter to charity, a quarter to his staff in the form of bonuses, a quarter to make the website and things along those lines and he's keeping the rest. It's been so successful that Snoop Dogg is taking note of the concept.
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted January 7, 2012 Author Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2012 Apologies for the source (Daily Mail), but David Icke kicked out his wife because he thought she was a shape-shifting space lizard.
