British Middleweight Championship Match

Ben Levy vs Robbie Dynamite © ended in a no contest. Rather interesting finish as it turned out, the ref was counting Dynamite out after Ben hit his finisher when on 9, Dynamite threw a coin or some sort of small object at Ben which apparently caught him in the eye, but the way it was done, you could have easily assumed that a fan could have thrown the item in the ring. Anyway Ben goes down holding his eye, ref calls for the bell so Dynamite retains.

Deano and Kid Cool def Chad Collyer and Eddie Edwards

Details from the All Star site of what looks to be a trememdous legends line up at Hanley on Saturday....

Wrestling legends heading for Hanley!

Stars from the 'World of Sport' era and afterwards will be going into action at the Victoria Hall, Hanley, on Saturday November 15, during a special Wrestling Legends night presented by All Star Promotions.

Former British and European Champion Danny Collins and lightweight maestro Johnny Saint will be making a welcome return to the Potteries spotlight during a big bill also including a clash of tag team greats as Robbie Brookside leads the 'Liverpool Lads' against Jimmy Ocean's notorious Norfolk-based 'Super Flys.'

Collins, now based near Leamington, won his first title at the age of 16 and has kept himself in tip top shape. He was tempted back into competition earlier in the year and at Hanley faces outspoken French Canadian Rene Dupree, a noted globetrotter who was a WWE tag champion before he was out of his teens when forming one half of the 'La Resistance' combination with Sylvian Grenier.

Johnny Saint, regarded by many as an all-time great among ring tacticians, faces an intriguing test against one of wrestling's new generation of stars, the self-styled 'Wonder Kid' Jonny Storm, and in the tag battle, reigning British heavyweight number one Brookside, just back in action after knee surgery early in the autumn, joins fellow Merseysider Franke Sloan against the rip-roaring 'Super Flys.'

This time the Norwich-based formation consists of Ocean and 'Zebra Kid' Roy Knight, aggressive son of currently injured original team member Ricky Knight, who is still expected to be in their Victoria Hall corner.

Minx and Domino

Two further contests complete a programme starting at 7.30pm, one of them a ladies clash including new 'Queen of the Ring' Sweet Saraya, alias Mrs Ricky Knight! The abrasive Saraya, who has stormed back after a serious leg injury last winter, faces the fiercely competitive Sarah Jones, better known to fans as Minx!

Dupree v Collins, Storm v Saint, Liverpool Lads v Zebra and Jimmy Ocean, Minx v Saraya....

Anyone who is a wrestling fan and lives anywhere even remotely near Hanley who doesn't attend this is a blithering idiot if you ask me.

Sadly, for anyone who lives too far away from Hanley, the show will not be filmed. Storm v Saint is particulary fascinating.
