  1. You can add us trying to get rid of Ozil, Auba will probably be off and bringing players in I don't see much, if anything being done on that front. We need to be getting rid of squad players we don't need if possible, getting decent transfer funds and using that on top of any budget we have to try helping bridge the gap. The recruitment policy at the club hasn't been good enough for a long time now, some good signings, to go with some really poor ones. It's going to be a big challenge as this season has sucked and looking to the future, we have to find a way to come back and that most likely after a dreadful season is losing our best player and top goalscorer for a low fee.ย

  2. Hopefully somehow it can be salvaged and they can go back to putting shows on. I only got into the Glory shows a few years back and glad I did, found most of them entertaining and always made sure I watched when or after they happened.

  3. I've been watching a lot of recent WCW's shows from 1996, Nitro's and the PPV shows, it's been really enjoyable. most of it I don't remember from the past, I will do proper write up off it later today.

Something happened at Clash of the Champions 32 show between Bobby Heenan and Flyin Brian Pillman. Heenan being his usual heel self was praising Pillman for what he was doing in the ring, Pillman got knocked out the ring, went behind Heenan, took his jacket off is back and Heenan yelled out with mic on still "What the F are you doing?" he seemed very annoyed by it, he walked away to leave, then came back, apologized for his actions and commentated back on the match between Pillman and Guerrero. It seemed to came out of nowhere as if it wasn't a work or planned, anyone remember it?

The write ups on here areย fantastic, credit to all of you who have taken the time to write and help us all remember show's we have watched, or shows we want to check out now from what you have said.

  4. I wonder if the agreement money wise between Fury and Joshua stays the same if Wilder beats Fury in their third fight and there is no WBC title on the line in the Fury vs Joshua fight.

  5. Chelsea are doing the right thing and should help us having to stop hearing about them using young talent from the academy and how Lampard is all for it, soon as they are able to spend, bring players in and try to compete at highest level, they go right for it. If the Werner deal goes through, really good singing to go on top off signing Zieych already. Havertz on top would be a statement and a half to everybody else.

  6. I thought Burns was superb, I expected a close five round fight that could go either way, but Burns just went out there and dominated from start to finish. I'm not sure where Woodley goes from here, he talked a good game beforehand but there's wasn't much there and with such a long lay off, and his age it's hard to see him ever getting back in the title picture. I didn't know Usman and Burns were training partners, but refreshing to hear Burns come out and make it clear he wants to fight him next for the belt.

  7. I feel like in my era "Bones" Jones is the best in MMA. I do think in recent years he has become less explosive and looking for the finish, not sure if becoming older has made him more aware or if outside stuff has got in the way, but I am a bit of a snob when it comes to MMA and boxing when it comes to guys dominating their weight classes and just staying there. It's something that disappointed me for many years when it came to Anderson Silva, he would go up sometimes to 205lbs, feast on guys he knew he would beat, but when it came to fighting the best "Jones" at some point during his 185lbs run, it was we trained together so can't fight him, I found it to be an excuse. The same for GSP at 170lbs and Jones now when it comes to moving to the heavyweight division. Move out your comfort zone and conquer, a loss will not end your career. It doesn't change what any of them achievedย during their careers, I know in the end GSP went up, but he did so believing without doubt he could beat Bisping, win a second title in another division and leave without defending it

  8. It probably is the best game I've been too as a Arsenal fan as we should have won easily, Lehmann gifting them a point at the end, the emotion of anger that we didn't beat them, but mentally aware we had won the title, but seeing their players and fans celebrate like they win the league at the end, only to see our players and fans celebrate at the final whistle for actually winning the league was priceless. 16 years ago yesterday too, time has flown by, I would never have thought all these years later, we wouldn't have won the league title again, oh well, at least safe in the knowledge I'll never see them ever win it in my lifetime. Time to dust off the old DVD and watch that UNBEATABLE Premier League season again!!!

  9. The first two parts of the ten part documentary on Michael Jordan called The Last Dance is starting tonight in America, it's supposed to be able to view on Netflix from tomorrow morning over here, I can't wait to see it.

  10. 35 years ago, probably the most entertaining three rounds of a fight ever witnessed!!!

Still amazing fight to watch to this day, crazy to believe it's been 35 years since it took place.

  11. It will be in the States again, that's where the money is. Fury won't care one bit about that, he seems to love it over there and has said on more then one occasion he doesn't see himself fighting in the UK again(he doesn't even have a British boxing licence at present moment) Wilder has to take the rematch straight away, never know how long it might take for him again to get another shot at one of the belts without being completely screwed over the money percentage, he will be getting 40% for the third fight against Fury which is fair after what happened in the second fight and hopefully he can figure out what adjustments he can make when watching the fight back to make it a different outcome. I'm all for fighters trying to find reasons afterwards for why they lost, something happened beforehand etc if they are being real to themselves behind closed doors, if he really believes he lost because of what he was wearing to the ring, it will be the same outcome in the third fight as it was in the second fight.

I'm all for the third fight next, I think best for both fighters to get it out the way and then later this year the winner faces the winner of Joshua/Pulev for all the belts and we finally get a defining undisputed number one heavyweight champion of the world.

  12. My plan is to go out for few drinks with friends, come back to mine, order it, talk throughout whilst watching a under card that doesn't look the best and then watch the main event. I probably should ask permission from my wife first now that I type this, but easier to deal with after coming back home with few drinks in me. I'm pumped for this rematch, not often I stay up nowadays to watch a big boxing fight, but this one is a must.
