I'm quite used to us being shit thanks, and quite like back and forth with Arsenal fans, and some of them are quite creative, but this is a bit embarrassing to be honest.

You're over the age of 14 I take it? I guarantee you use the phrase spuds or sp*rs.

@stewdogg hes been ridiculous this season, and is only improving with each game. 16/17 levels of performance.

    Okay then.

Yes I am, have I said spuds or sp*rs on here once? Nope, I say Auba and you get yourself in a little bunch over it. I was having a little joke about what you said about Bale after what has been said about him since he rejoined.  You can have the personal insult this time around.

  2. It's Brook's last pay day, I don't see it ending well, I think he will get beat up, hurt and stopped somewhere after half way stage of the fight. It's strange how his career has panned out since going to America and beating Porter to become world champion. Going up to 160lbs to face GGG was great financially for him, but not the best career move when you consider he got messed up in that fight, came back down to 147lbs to defend his IBF world title against Spence Jr, losing that and then basically chasing the Khan fight some more.

Is it a fantastic signing? I’m sure most Arsenal fans didn’t even know who he was until 2 weeks ago.

Football does happen outside of England. I can't talk for other Arsenal fans, but I know who he is and have seen him play on a number of occasions for Lille. He has the attributes I believe we need in the middle of defence. Time will tell of course, whether he turns out to be a fantastic signing for us or not. I sure hope so.

  4. I take what he said about Usman with a pinch of salt as he knows he isn't getting him next after how the first fight played out and saying anything differently about not wanting a rematch down the line would make him look seriously bad from wanting to be the best.

  5.  Looking forward to Charlo vs Derevyancheko, Charlo vs Rosario and Davis vs Santa Cruz. I'm not sure what the WBA are up to when it comes to the Davis vs Santa Cruz fight, the fight is taking place at 130lbs, but Davis WBA title at 135lbs and Santa Cruz WBA title at 130lbs are both on the line.

I thought you meant you were nervous about the result when you said you were shitting yourself, that's all. That's the only context I've heard it used. Chill out.

Nobody. There's not many players in the world more creative than him on his day- but 'his day' scarcely happens.

He can't have a day if not picked to play.

He should be the most creative player, he's arguably the most talented in terms of technical ability (not using the horrible cliché 'technically gifted' because I think that term is outright bollocks)- but going by performances in recent years he isn't. Or he isn't creative enough to warrant his inclusion in spite of his negative points- I think that might be more true. I honestly don't think we would have fared better overall if he played more games this season.

Who in the squad is a more creative player than Ozil?

  8. It depends on if he wants to attempt to be the best or just wants to boost his bank balance/taking easier fights. If it's to fight the best and try to get another shot at the belt, you go through Edwards and another top contender, if it's for the cash/easier fighters to face, you go down the Diaz and McGregor route.

Yeah, I can get behind that.

I am struggling with the ethics of this. On the one hand he's acting very unprofessionally, and extorting the club by not doing what he's being paid to do, as well as wasting the talent he has to the detriment of the club on the pitch. On the other hand, the club have put him in that position and caused a rift between him and the club/supporters.

I guess you can't fault him for staying and getting paid. I can accept that. But if he's going to stay, he should be doing the job he's being paid for.

What's he not doing? He is training with the first team, if the manager decides not to pick him, what's he supposed to do? I get your argument about if he isn't playing, he should look to leave if there is a option to do so, but why leave and get paid less elsewhere? Why leave and uproot your family if you want to fight for your place in the team? I know Ozil is easily good enough to be in this team, let alone the squad and I'[m sure he is well aware of that himself.

  10. Ozil should be in the squad, its ridiculous that he isn't. Obviously something somewhere behind the scenes is going on and Arteta has decided when he has put him in the squad to keep him on the bench or just not pick him at all. Ozil is still the most creative player we have at the football club. I have no problem with him deciding to stay and not leave till his contract ends if that's what he thinks is best for his family and himself. I hope we see him in one of the remaining two fixtures we have left if this season.

Rumours are that Auba will stay if we give him a £250k p/a 3 year contract. That's a no-brainer to me. I think he'll stay.

That's what I heard few weeks ago too but if its true, you'd think the deal be all signed now. I'd be given him the contract for sure if in charge, I do wonder whether him being played left wing most of the time and having too so Lacazette and Nketieh can play up top might give him doubts about staying.
