  1. It's going to be on PPV. No way whoever Joshua ends up facing are Sky going to change their plans for his fight to be on that platform. Ruiz Jnr is alright, I can't see him posing much of a threat to Joshua but I didn't expect Miller to either.

  2. This was my very first WCW video purchase!!! I remember seeing it in Woolworth's for ages, but never being able to convince my dad to buy it for me, finally one year I did and it was woth the wait. I need to go back and watch it again, along with some of the other PPV show's during this time period.

  3. I forgot after just watching how bad the finish was to Bret Hart vs Yokozuna at Wrestlemania XI. Yokozuna built up as this unstoppable monster and only gets the win after Hart puts him the the sharpshooter and Mr Fuji throws salt in his eyes, and Yokozuna does nothing on top off that action besides lay on him for the count off 1,2,3. I'm assuming the reason for that and the Hogan stuff afterwards was to safeguard Bret and go with Hogan vs Hart at the King of the ring PPV a few months down the line?

  4. Jacobs was with HBO but with them being done with boxing now, he has signed with DAZN.

No surprise Canelo has dropped back down to 160lbs after the farce against Fielding, in winning what is a made up belt and becoming champion at a third different weight class. Jacobs is a good fighter and will pose problems, but cant see pass Canelo winning on points.

  5. Khan knows even if he loses in bad fashion against Crawford the Brook fight is always going to be there because Brook is desperate for that pay day. I got no problem with him going in there against one of the best P4P fighters in the world and fighting for a world title over fighting Brook next.

AJ was pretty pissed off at the end there. Has Whyte got under his skin or was he just frustrated that it'll end up being him vs Whyte in April.. and when that date was announced after the Povetkin fight it was looking like it would have been Wilder.

Joshua doesn't like anyone talking shite about him and after what Whyte said towards him, he had his back up and wanted to say something whilst keeping control of himself in case he decided to jump up in the ring and do something more about it. He got boos too which I got no doubt bothered him, the landscape has changed now after Wilder fighting Fury, if you listen to what Joshua said afterwards about Whyte kinds gives a glimpse in to what his mindset is right now "When the crowd start cheering, and start saying they want to see Dillian, and if it does happen, I don't want to hear no talk when I whoop him and knock him out, 'oh he's had an easy touch, he should have fought Wilder.'

  7. It's the fight that both men need to have when it comes to Wilder vs Fury. No other fight out there bigger for either besides fighting Joshua and who knows how long that will take to happen, even for the winner of it. I'm happy both are willing to put it all on the line, no messing around, just getting it done and may the best man on the night win. I do believe right now Wilder has the slight edge because of Fury's inactivity, but with Fury you just don't know.

  8. Strong finish from Joshua after a slow start, he struggled but the power is always there and once he landed properly it was just a matter of time.

Someone needs to shut Tony Bellew up, hearing his annoying voice screaming like a cheerleader with advice during the Joshua/Povetkin fight was worse then hearing someone scratch nails across a chalkboard. Lucky enough Usyk will take care of it in November.

    Shkodran Mustafi.

Needs a word in his ear? Or you think maybe passed the soft approach and he needs someone to slap him upside his head? I thought Xhaka frustrated and annoyed me the most in the team, now I know know it's Mustafi, deserved win but what he was doing near the end of the game allowing Joselu two free headers that could have easily got them a draw I will never know. I would say he was just ball watching but when it went past him both times he never turned to look back until ball was saved for the first chance and into the net for the second. The quicker Kos gets back from injury, the better.

  10. Khan/Pacquiao is a bigger fight then Khan/Brook, so if Khan doesn't fight Pac and then doesn't fight Brook, I'll take it as a duck.Brook is desperate and Khan knows it, so with that power he will mess with him as long as he can get away with it.

I might have asked this before but who is considered the best name on Wilder's record? Chris Arreola, Bermane Stiverne, Audley?

    Luis Ortiz.

Im not sold on any of the women either than Katie Taylor, shes just leagues above everyone.

I missed all boxing this weekend, but just found out Kovalev got knocked out 😮 i skipped it because i thought it was a routine, nothing fight.

Any of the women in general? Or just in Britain? Chantelle Cameron is at Taylor's weight and dealt with Obenauf much more convincingly then Taylor did, she looks really good and they same weight, but even with different promoters hopefully a fight between the two of them down the line can be made.

yeh just saw that, i thought they'd kept that with Saunders/Murray.

Few reports on facebook now saying that Saunders/GGG is being lined up for London in August.

Naw, decided to put it on there as shows close enough and Flanagan being from the area, so makes sense to put him on that undercard, but going by all that has happened, wouldn't surprise me if his fight or the whole Manchester card didn't get pulled before this Saturday night.

I can see it being GGG vs Saunders next for sometime in August or September. I can't see(no matter how much I wanna see it again) Canelo vs GGG 2 happening in September, so maybe that if both win their next fights happens in May 2019

Yeh and theres that, im not sure why Warren even went to the o2 with it. Any word on whats happening with Terry Flanagan? they surely cant put that back again.

...and has Tyson Fury explained why hes shaved his eye brows off?

Flanagan vs Hooker is scheduled to be on the Fury card this Saturday.

  15. The Takam fight makes sense as it will go down as Joshua's mandatory still as he next in line after Pulev, so the show doesn't get cancelled and AJ gets the mandatory defence out the way so he won't have to bother about having to reschedule against Pulev sometime early next year. Takem is a decent fighter but can't see him causing a problem and a case of how long it takes Joshua to get him out of there, I' reckon with six rounds.

  16. Collins wanted the Jones fight after beating Benn in their second fight and it never came to fruition, he didn't really wanna deal with Calzaghe so retired, wanted to come back because Jones Jr apparently offered him £3Million in 1999, sparred Eastman as already been mentioned but the story given out was he collapsed in the ring, but as Cousin Jim Bob pointed out, seems as if the truth is Eastman banged him out. Collins was trying to get a fight with Roy Jones a few years back, so can see why he would be up for a payday against Benn.

Do people really wanna pay money to see this?

  17. The Collins and Benn two fights from over 20 years ago weren't all that good, can't imagine what they would be like now.

Pac vs Horn should be fun, Pac is due a stoppage win as been so long and if Horn brings it to him as he says he will, I see him getting stopped midway during the fight.

  18. I wasn't sure where to put this information but thought this be the best place. There's an evening with Conor McGregor as he sits down with Ariel Helwani being shown tonight on BT Sport 1 at 22:00pm tonight, I just seen on the planner short while ago, it says it's first time showing too, so thought I'd share in case no one knew or seen before.

  19. Thurman vs Garica for the WBA/WBC titles at 147lbs tomorrow night is the fight for me. Both carry power, undefeated, the styles of both  fighters should hopefully gel and we get a fantastic showing. At a pick I gotta go with Thurman in a hard, close points decision.

  20. Quigg is fighting next, the last three fights are Whyte/Chisora, Concepcion/Yafai and Joshua/Molina.

Scrap that, sky sports boxing website had it down as Quigg, sky betting has it down as Callum Smith next and it's Smith, so going by skybet the last three fights are Taylor/Obenauf, Whyte/Chisora and Joshua/Molina.

  21. I'm looking forward to a few fights taking place in the States early Sunday morning.

Two unbeaten fighters facing off, Jermall Charlo defending 154lbs IBF title against Jullian Williams. Jesus Cuellar defending his 126lbs WBA title against Abner Maras and Terence Crawford defending his 140lbs WBC/WBO titles against John Molina Jr. The Crawford/Molina Jr fight is live on Boxnation from 02:00am and the other two will need to be seen over here by other means.

Charlo vs Williams is the most intriguing for me, Charlo has the better resume after defeating former champ Trout in his last fight, but Williams has been really hyped over the last few years and maybe this is his time to shine? Can see both of them having really good moments in the fight, but expect Charlo in the end to edge it on  close split points decision.

For all the other big fights for the day/night I got:

    Joshua by KO3

    Whyte UD

    Parker TKO8

    Cuellar SD

    Crawford TKO9

I'll add myself to the list of people who seem to expect Whyte/Chisora to be a boring fight, I hope to be pleasantly surprised but I'm expecting a snooze fest and the build up with the whole table throwing, swearing etc was cringe worthy.
