Nah, Gladiators had a law passed that no-one could that slot ever again
-
But that's what I'm saying. Are you watching one episode at a time each week, or are you watching a bunch in a row at your convenience.
I imagine in the future there will still be TV channels for people to watch in the traditional way if they choose, but there will be more of an emphasis around OnDemand. In other words, you can watch Game of Thrones week by week if you want, but the full series will be OnDemand if you want to blast through in a couple of days
-
Sorry I'm with you now.
It's a good idea, but with the growth of OnDemand TV which is how I imagine all TV will be eventually, people don't have the patience anymore to wait a week for the next instalment. They want to be able to watch everything in a binge

Kind of like how they show Raw in order on a near daily basis?

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd’s murder plot charge has been dropped – and his lawyer says it should never have been made in the first place.
He was arrested and bailed yesterday following a raid on his New Zealand home, and accused of attempting to procure the murders of two men, plus threatening to kill and possession of methamphetamine and cannabis.
It had been claimed he’d tried to hire a hitman to end the lives of two people. All three were named in court but could not be identified for legal reasons. But the most serious charge, which carried a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years, is now gone – although the threatening to kill charge could lead to a seven-year sentence if Rudd is found guilty.
Rudd’s legal rep Paul Mabey insists it would never have stood up in court, adding: “I was advised by Crown solicitor Greg Hollister-Jones that he had reviewed the police file and the available evidence to support the charge of attempting to procure murder. He had formed the view that there was insufficient evidence to justify that charge. He has now withdrawn the charge.
“It should never have been laid. The Crown solicitor’s opinion was not sought.”
Mabey describes the drug charges as "minor" and says his client will fight all three remaining accusations on his return to court on November 27. The 60-year-old had entered no plea during his first appearance at Tauranga District Court.
“The damage to Mr Rudd is incalculable," he continues. "Questions arise as to the degree of care taken by those responsible for arresting and charging him. My client suffered unnecessary and extremely damaging publicity as a result of widespread and sensational reporting of a very serious allegation, which on any basis was never justified.”
Last night AC/DC issued a statement saying they’d been unaware of any legal issues with the drummer until his arrest. They added: “Phil’s absence will not affect the release of our new album Rock Or Bust and upcoming tour next year.”

Yes you can.
Laptop, Playstation 3/4, Xbox 360/One, Android tablets, RoKu devices (whatever the hell they are), Apple TV and iphone I think is the full list of devices you can get it on

Biffy subbed for Metallica last time they played which was the Saturday, and Megadeth played before Soundgarden the following dayThe Biffy/Slash gig tomorrow was only £10 in total, no booking fees or anything. Not shabby so I thought I'd go. May stay for Biffy and see what they're like live (only if I get made to stay), but I think I saw them at Download before Soundgarden and wasn't impressed. Maybe it was them, I can't remember.
The new Machine Head album is streaming in full on the bands youtube channel. Follow the link from metal hammer - http://metalhammer.teamrock.com/news/2014-11-05/machine-head-stream-bloodstone-diamonds-in-full

Fuck knows the accuracy of this but:
A Sky Sports customer service representative informed Prowrestling.net reader Craig Beavis that WWE Network will be launched as a Sky Sports channel. "Yes, we will launch it as a channel with Sky TV," the customer service rep wrote in a one-on-one chat. "Currently we don't have any details but it will be going to be soon... And you will will be notified by adv, email or call."
But then again, SKY customer service reps are liars. That's how I got a 12 month 25% reduced bill

Can I be hoity toity and recommend this guy:-
If you like, but who the fuck is he?
Paul Dano playing Eli Sunday in 'There Will Be Blood'

They forged a career on one song which just enough people pay money to hear/see over and over, coupled with the fact that they are lucky enough to be on labels that keep giving them money to record with.
They are the type of band that I can see play the US and the UK but mainland Europe wouldn't give a shit about because American metal is largely dogshit these days outside of the big hitters
-
You'd have to pay me to see Drowning Pool play, but as you said each to their own
-
Ugh, "not to be watched, but experienced" is the kind of shit a films studies kid comes out with their first semester
Loudest film I saw was Man Of Steel last year, just stupidly loud
-
Was never a big fan, and outside of the songs that were singles I probably couldn't tell you much else about them. I do remember Static collaborating with Burton C Bell on a track called 'Burning Inside' which I think was from a films soundtrack but can't recall which right now.
Saw a poster for the UK tour with Drowning Pool that had just been confirmed when I was at Damnation and thought to myself "bloody hell, nostalgia-Fest", then read the news the next morning
And that Phil Rudd story is some barmy shit. Not what you need three weeks before you release a new album
-
Has he improved since Donnie Darko? My first year uni flat mate had us watch it, and I never forgave him
-
Then you must be some kind of masochist

ECW Week next week on the network.
Monday immediately after RAW has 'ECW Exposed' presented by Joey Styles and Paul Heyman. They are also going to show three Non-PPV show (Hardcore Heaven 95, November To Remember 95 and Cyberslam 96) and add 40 episodes of ECW TV to the OnDemand section
Also, watched the first two episodes of Rivalries, which covers Austin v McMahon (ep1 upto end of 99, ep2 99 onwards). While I've complained about The Monday Night Wars series, which just seems to be DVD sets presented differently, and while this does cover a lot of stuff that has been told before it's presented far better. All of Austin's talking head footage is from when he filmed for his last DVD set but there is a fair amount of more recently filmed talking heads rather showing Eric Bischoff from 2002 as you get MNWs.
Like I say, nothing really new to learn, but it has a lot of behind the scenes footage and is a much more enjoyable watch
-
I imagine it will happen through November and then every now and again after the free month
-
Stuck on the last series! is it worth watching until the end?
Yes, a million times yes
-
I figured that it would make a cheeky appearance at some point, but was suprised that it was flapping about in the first few minutes.
I'm not a gay man either, but there's defiantly a man crush going on with Fassbender. And I still won't accept anyone else when James Bond gets recast
-
Also nice to hear that Nelson Muntz saw it happen
-
Vince must laugh his arse off at these so called 'hijackings'. They've already paid their money , so he's got that, and they seem determined to have a miserable time. It's like paying to go see a band and booing them for the whole show
-
Watched Shame the other night on channel4, which was delightfully grim. Michael Fassbender was good as he usually is, and Carey Mulligan didn't feature as much I thought she might do which I was happy with.

Bums Studio Ghibli

Absolutely stick with it. Season 3 has major repercussions for the rest of the run.
All of the great dramas are slow at times. The Wire and Mad Men are two prime examples but both are fantastic and deserve the hype, same as Breaking Bad does
