In fairness, that's a matter of personal taste and preference. You are supposing that your criteria for a "good match" is the same as someone else's. I'm not even necessarily saying I disagree with your assertion, it's just a little too subjective to quantify what is "good" when really it's a matter of opinion rather than fact.

This is definitely true. Those losers on Twitter who think they're part of one company or the other are always going on about absolute bangers they've seen on the latest 15 hour TV show.

Wrestling died the day it became about "good matches". I want 20 years of my life back.

Old school too. None of your new fangled tiny Wagon Wheels, we are talking the OG Wagon Wheel in the dick.

Wagon Wheels are the same size they've always been, our foreskins have just got smaller.

I assume this is some northern thing.

    It's a working thing.

The cynic in me would look at these boxes with MEDICAL SUPPLIES emblazoned on them and think they did indeed look a bit light.

I have to get the sack barrow out when my missus wants some paracetamol taking upstairs.

Everton have been deducted 10 points with immediate effect for financial irregularities. I’m sure their very level headed fanbase will take this need with their usual pragmatism and not engage in whataboutery

Don't worry, everyone else is doing that for them.

I think if you're guilty, you're guilty, but whatever rules for sustainability are in place that see one club charged for losing an additional £20m over three years when another in the same "fair" competition can spend a billion quid in a year - they're absolutely useless.

I think he's possibly the most spineless person in politics today.

I think he's in good company to be honest but the point taken, he might well be spineless, but I think he's also very wary of outright telling Israel what to do considering he took over a party in the middle of an antisemitism scandal and has worked at making people forget it. He knows that if he comes out in any way appearing to be against Israel, the opposition and the papers will twist it completely. I'm not convinced a Labour civil war is a better look, but I guess that's the chance he's taking.

Sometimes we take our cameras down to Sale Water Park and get some great shots of all the birds there. Used my aforementioned Chirp-O-Matic there in the woods and it told me there was a Blackcap nearby. I was delighted when a few minutes later he landed on a branch and we got to see him!

We do the same. We live near the Humber Bridge and they've got a great area in the country park where birds visit for food and land right over your head in the arched trees.

Everything in focus except the blue tit...

  8. We get a Robin that comes back all the time. Bit worried at the moment though because my bird feeder broke (rusted in half) and I've hung the bird feeders elsewhere and nothing's touched them to the point they went manky.

Rarest we ever got in our garden was this Heron who just visited one day and has never been back.

    No photo description available.

  9. We watched Juliet, Naked. Didn't realise it was an adaptation of a Nick Hornby book until the credits rolled. It's pretty good. Harmless stuff with the lovely Rose Byrne at the heart of it and Ethan Hawke being pretty good as an aged rocker with about 150 kids and a 20-year gap in his memory from years of losing himself. Chris O'Dowd as the obsessive fan is how I imagine most of you lot on here when you bang on about bands no-one has ever heard and cats would commit suicide if they heard 😆.

Not sure if he was singing but Ethan Hawke's version of Waterloo Sunset was a bloody delight.

Have you had the trail mix that Marks has done?

Marks and Spencer Very Merry Munch

It's actually like crack. They did a Hallowe'en version that was sold out and not replaced by mid-October, but the Xmas one is also out now - there's this version and a version with gummy sweets in and it's brilliant.

At the risk of sounding like a know-all - contempt of court is a real thing and for that reason, it really is a bad idea for anyone to discuss or speculate on a live case.

Absolutely, but I think this being a private forum and no-one actually speculating on any details, because we know fuck all anyway, probably means we won't get a knock on the door this time.

Oh, and this isn't a court case yet, the fella hasn't been charged with any crime.

  12. I made the mistake of checking out X-Twitter for reaction yesterday and there are tons of disgusting racially driven takes about black on white violence and accusing the reports of not naming Petgrave because he's black. Fucking horrible societies both here and in the US were lots of the takes were also from.

The push is a foul but that's by the by, the most egregious issue in that game was Bruno forearm smashing Jorginhio in the back of the head. That was what a lot of the anger is about.

The Havertz tackle was horrific. I don't think it's a push but can see why others do. Either way, there's absolutely nothing in that game to justify the outrage or additional statements. Wolves have been hard done to 50 times worse this season.

    Saw this on Twitter.

Vader at the Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas fight at the Tokyo Dome in February 1990. The day after that match with Stan Hansen at the same venue.

Great picture. Another wrestling tie-in with the fight - Tyson was supposed to be the guest ref for Hogan v Savage on The Main Event but they changed it to Buster Douglas after Tyson's shock defeat.
