I wonder if their Covid stance, or complete lack of it was a factor? Australians tend to be quite vocal on the subject.Ā

the change in the testing policy is anything but 'fair dinkum'

  2. ECW on Bravo got really easy to follow on Bravo by 99/2000 but they were a few weeks out from what I remember.Ā  I think I taped near enough every airing in 2000 and don't recall anything old, just tons and tons of horrifying softcore porno before and or after most episodes. Maybe it was early on. But combining Power Slam with limited internet use to find out which Hardcore TV was that week worked out well most of the time.

  3. Bit of a shame, the unreleased collections they were putting out on DVD and stuff like the Attitude comps, the territory comps like the Mid South one, all really good and a ton of weird rare odd matches for cheap. Thinking about it, the Warrior ones werent bad either. Guy was a bollocks and all but if you're in ignore mode those two Warrior blu's just had tons of crap jobber matches, promos and all the essential stuff (mostly).

  4. Feel like it's alright for me to say in 2021 that The Miz is the dogshit worst. Watching the useless cunt sit there with his shit grandad talking to him like he's reading aloud from a Facebook comment. Just fuck off. Pair of useless fucking knackered tits. Sorry if this is a bit much but i've had to look at his fucking Ochre tinged face again the past two days and I cannot stand him. Horse shit. Unbelievable that it's Miz vs Edge in 2021. FuckingĀ  'NEW YEARS REVOLUTION' level shit. Guys never been good unless he's got some shoot promo about how shit he is to juggle about with. Wank. The Wank. Mike Wankanin.

  5. if Jonathan Nitro wasnt as talented as he seems to be outside of wrestling he'd have been on the All Star circuit talking about how "damn good" whatever premier league team corresponds to the city he's in. No way he should have been near a main event, even as a one off. Amazed anyone might have thought his run was going to go any other way than how it did. Hit basically every beat I was expecting - shitarsed out from the start all the way to the end. Seems like a nice guy but never anything other than bland. Flips that wouldnt dent a cream cake.

  6. Haven't bothered with any of the WWE ones really but went wuth FMW, XPW, Johnny K-9 and Luna last night. FMW was a good enough job for a 40 odd minute show. Highly, highly recommend BAHU's podcast on the promotions full history if you enjoyed it. Onita was coming across as an alright guy until they got to the clip with him lighting up a snout when talking about Arai. Kind of like when the skull gets superimposed over yer man at the end of Psycho, just a clear and horrible look at someone saying without saying directly they they know some people and have done some bad things. Great seeing Ricky Fuji too.

Luna and the K-9 one were good. Luna's son working out as completely normal and Gangrel being a really good bloke were good to see. K-9 I knew fuck all about, had heard both his names previous but otherwise sod all. XPW was probably my favourite of the series. Just awful, awful people doing stupid inexplicable things illegally and badly.

  7. me and two mates went to NXT in Liverpool a few years ago and my mate to the right of me got the short straw in having to sit next to someone who then asked him about modern WWE throughout the night, he doesn't watch any of it though, or didn't, and had to spend the whole thing just politely smiling and going yeah like a bus trip next to a headcase thats never ever going to end . Any time anyones tried it with me I indulge a bit because I can't imagine the confidence or lack of self awareness it takes to be able to go up to people you don't know and call HHH a cunt or whatever and whatever, most people are usually trying to be nice and people usually chase me or throw things at me in the street so its a nice change of pace.

For me personally, one of the biggest problems I have considering him a great promo (let alone best) is that, unlike other great promo guys in history,Ā I can't actually remember a single one. I can see he's a confident speaker with a delivery that works for him, but theĀ content never grabbed me. Not saying that's all his faultĀ either, but still.

if I remember right several people were "liars, man"

  9. I didn't cry but then the watermark for that seems to be something like the end of Diary Of A Country Priest when the caretaker explains to the vicar that even Christ knew the silence of God or the bit in Blankman with Damon Wayans when his robot dies

Well whatever happens it's got to be better than 99% of the suggestions on here so that's something.

just let em wrestle, 30 minutes, no gimmicks, no interference. Sean O'Haire run in as Devil's Advocate, give Raven the book. Moredecai, sympathetic Hassan, new Nation of Domination, writes itself.
