Â So I went to this Back 2 Black festival last weekend that was all Brazilian and African music and there was this guy playing called Criolo. I had never heard of him, but wanted to catch his set just because (Ethiopian composer/percussion legend) Mulatu Astatke was playing with him. Anyway, he ended up being fucking amazing and the best thing of the day. Put on a blinding live show, so I bought his cd and it has been on in the car pretty non stop. He's poised to blow up. Â He is but I'm halfway through his album and it hasn't really got me yet. Most of the tracks have not flowed well so far(except Thinkin About You.) Ain't heard Bad Religion yet but I've heard good stuff about it so will listen to rest of album later. Â To bring the tone down a bit if i may with a guy I'm guessing won't be a fan favorite around here (Not by me either normally but heard a couple of good tracks recently.)
