Van Dammer
After all the talk, Haye got outclassed in every department, and if that didnt do enough to make him look like a joke, the toe excuses and referee complaints just add to it. The Brits must get laughed at across the globe after talking the talk to such an extreme extent, but being toetally rubbish in the ring. Â Harsh, the guy held a world title, theres many countries in the world now and for many years that havnt had a world champion in boxing and many other sports. Haye has done well to get where he is and without his mouth wouldnt have half the money in the bank that he has now. He's done well and hes been beaten, it doesnt have to be a crash and burn story everytime.

Hatton did the same against Pacquiao and Mayweather, and looked like a tit afterwards. Haye is good, but he wasnt just cocky and confident, he pushed it a little too far, not only in the build up, but tonight also with the ring entrance. Would be a shame for him to retire so young  Bar Vitali, and possibly Adamek if he loses in September, there is nobody else to fight. And the world will hardly be clamouring for a Vitali fight after tonight.

The Brits must get laughed at across the globe after talking the talk to such an extreme extent, but being toetally rubbish in the ring. Â He fought a dumb fight and was clearly outworked. Outclassed... I don't like that word. The big plan was to basically fight a better version of the same fight everybody else has been fighting for years. It didn't work, it was never going to work because you need to create your own openings against Wlad. Â And Haye has long since said that he's done in October. He has his life set up now if he's smart and doesn't blow silly money like a lot of other boxers.

They are aware that 99% of them will have to have that fall in their career, rarely can a boxer retire at the top without that fall, if anything a boxer will gladly have that fall as its usually their final pay day to see them through retirement. Their entire careers is about building fights and getting pay offs.
Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted July 3, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 3, 2011 Knew he was going to take a pasting, has had it coming to him for a while now, and it was always going to be a Klitschko that gave it to him. He's a pretender, a good looking kid who could talk well but wasn't at the class level that allows the Klitschkos to half arse it in these diminished days of heavyweight boxing.
