Re-watching the Lesnar-Gowen feud was actually very uncomfortable. Very embarrassing for a company like WWE to do that in hindsight especially considering Gowen was never going to get revenge as part of the 'story.'
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted July 21, 2012 Paid Members Posted July 21, 2012 Yeah the Lesnar/Zack Gowen stuff was pretty strong, they would never try that nowadays, just like you never see Hornswoggle take a pasting anymore and you never see any deliberate man-on-woman violence. That's just the way it is nowadays, it's a more wholesome product. It's a shame in many ways, because I loved watching Gowen get destroyed, JBL smacking Hornswoggle and Three Minute Warning annihilating midgets and 'lesbians'.
