Could be Coach is a year out:May 16, 1999: X-Pac defeated D'Lo Brown by Disqualification...Edge and Christian defeated Prince Albert and Darren Drozdov...Road Dogg pinned Hardcore Holly in a hardcore match...Kane defeated Mark Henry by Disqualification...Mankind, Test, Big Show, and Ken Shamrock defeated Too Much and Disciples of Apocalypse in an eight-man tag team match.

The Bikers and The Gays, always the best of friends!!!! What a strange team!!!!
That would have been around the time when Too Much were regulary escorted to the ring on the back of DOA's bikes, wearing bright pink helmets, on the weekend shows.
Is that true or are you taking the piss?Too Much were origionally going to be a gay tag team and were concidered for the Billy and Chuck wedding storyline several years before B&C! How far did they push the envelope over them being benders before they became Too Cool? How did they become Too Cool?

Can't remember pink helmets, but Too Much and DOA did team up for a bit, didn't last long though.

There was nothing too over the top.Just your usual "haha, they are acting like gays" un-PC wrestling gimmick.Lots of hugging in the corner and the occasional butt slap for encouragement. Wearing bright pink clothes with matching waistcoats and stuff like that. Most of their stuff was being done on the weekend B-Shows anyway - having nice matches with pre-push Hardy Boys most weeks. Then one week they turned up wearing layers of FUBU style "Gansta/Wigga" clothing, and re-christened themselves Too Cool. They were heels for a bit, but it was more funny that anything else so they became faces quite quickly I think.

Yeah, by Survivor Series 1999 they were Too Cool and although treated like heels by JR on commentary, they were cheered quite a lot.

It is. Only goes about 5-6 minutes, but it's terrific stuff indeed.

Does anyone know if/where Drew McDonald is wrestling at the moment? I'm a huge fan, and personally think that he's still one of the best wrestlers in Britain, but the only time I've seen him this year was at Croydon I believe. I'd really like to see him wrestle again at some point, so any info would be appreciated. Also, beside the Uprising shows and FOH, are any of the FWA shows from it's beginning - mid 2004 available on tape/DVD. I have Goldrush from 2004, anything before then would be great.

This is the last match I have a record of -

EuroWres: EWA 'Austria vs Great Britain'Posted by Phil JonesBritish, and Irish, wrestlers appear in bold - European Wrestling Association - EWA 'Austria vs Great Britain', June 9, 2007, Mehrzweckhalle, Trofaiach, Austria (720 crowd) Elimination match: Chris "The BambiKiller" Raaber & Robert Ray & Michael Kovac defeated Drew McDonald & Sheamus O'Shaunessy & The Celtic Warrior (?)

However, I wouldn't surprised if he was working for Orig Williams on his ongoing shows this month in North Wales.
