GIB Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 (edited) I am now told I only have Raws, I've decided not to bother with anything before Taboo Tuesday because the PPV seemed crap, haven't been impressed with the Raw after Taboo Tuesday yet..Another question, when did Styles sign with WWE? And is it long term or short term? It's supposed to be short term, but I think he has actually signed now, his first show was Taboo Tuesday filling in for Coach. What it actually is is a 52 week "trial", where basically he's on a week by week basis and can be let go at any time. After the 52 weeks, and provided everyone is happy, they'll sign a proper long term deal. It's unclear whether the trial is at the request of WWE or Styles - after all, Joey has a full time advertising job.
Paid Members Supremo Posted November 25, 2005 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2005 I am now told I only have Raws, I've decided not to bother with anything before Taboo Tuesday You have to watch those shows. WWE RAW from Homecoming to Taboo Tueday should be studied for the rest of time by anyone studying Media who wants to know how one can fuck up absolutely everything on your TV show and piss over any momentum a channel-change might have generated. It's beyond Wrestlecrap. There's not even a word for how bad some of the stuff they ran was.

Mr. Seven Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Who came up with the Abyss character? TNA? ROH? The man himself? Has he always worn a mask? And finally has there ever been any explanation given as to why he wears it?
pro-rebeluk Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 according to obsessed with wrestling he was using the gimmick before TNA so i'm guessing he invented it or maybe the people down in puerto rice he worked for  he hasn't always worn the mask infact he worked under the name eric justice or prince justice in the indies, heres a photo of him without the mask:  kid kash brought him in as his monster in TNA from what i remember
Mr. Seven Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Cue a flood of "lol I see why he wears the mask" replies...
Paid Members Supremo Posted November 26, 2005 Paid Members Posted November 26, 2005 Cue a flood of "lol I see why he wears the mask" replies... We already had a thread like that the first time that pic was posted. There's only so many ways you can say, "LOL he looks like a mini Big Show," and "LOL put the mask on, LOL." before it gets boring. I'd say after the first time.
dbax Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Does Mick Foley's official web site - the one done to look like a carnival - still exist, and if so what's the address?

He appeared as Justice without a mask in the Gauntlet for the Gold on the very first TNA PPV.

They'd used variations on teh triple cage before though, as seen at Great American Bash '88 and Uncensored '96.Souled Out 2000 was the first appearance of the "Caged Heat" match.
