Johnnyreggae Posted September 1 Author Posted September 1 First show will be this Saturday, Sep 5th. ORW Outlaw wrestling from just outside of CLACTON-ON-SEA. 2 Title matches, A Rumble and more. I'll keep this updated as I go if peeps are interested in the journey! I didn't even think of foam hands, if I can't get one I'll go for the worst piece of merchandise I can find šĀ Ā Quote

Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 3 Paid Members Posted September 3 Despite all the ribbing the promoter got on here, I remember reading that Championship Xtreme Wrestling did quite well; got some surprisingly good numbers in, considering the climate at the time. Dripkoxx have been going for some time. Not always the best shows you'd see, but they were usually solid local circuit fare. Haven't been to one for a while, though - can't speak as to their quality now. Surprised World Wide Wrestling League (3WL) are still going, given all that horrendousness with Mike Musso being outed as a nonce. Also an amusing name for a promotion that seemingly only does shows in Western Scotland. Quote

The Dart Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) Given that you've chosen ORW for your first one, I am guessing you are relatively local to that, which means I want to confirm - are you THE Johnny Reggae? Big Benny has done a tremendous job listing promotions but I guarantee there are some that even he's not aware of, there are a lot of shows that happen in this country with zero online presence.Ā I think trying to attend one show from each promotion is insane (but I guess you thought this was more realistic when you thought there were dozens, rather than 250) - I think just aiming to attend a different promotion every week of the year and going to 52 different promotions in one year would be quite impressive, given I've only attended shows by 141 different promotions in 25 years and I'd assume I go to more wrestling shows than your average fan, although granted that would be rookie numbers compared to some people, for sure.
