You can't call this thread Superstars of Wrestling, you'll get sued.

It's probably the show I watch the most of these days and close to my favourite wrestling show/format ever. I fucking love Superstars. Both the original opening and the made New Gen Version with it's custom theme song. I love the opening that always tells you what's coming, the run of squashes, the promo work, the event center type spots and the big angles that would pop up. Even in the couple of years after Raw started, it still stuns me how much happened on Superstars as opposed to Raw. When I was a kid, I saw very little but PPVs (months or years late) and that was obvious back then when their brilliant match build-up videos would have tons of highlights that came from Superstars (or Challenge).

1991 is probably the peak for angles on Superstars. I've watched through the 1991 run a few times, I had it on DVD yonks ago and then on YouTube before some grass on here got the channel shut down and those shows are pretty epic. They put a huge amount into big angles in the spring and summer with Jake Roberts, Taker and Warrior being central to most things.
