What's stuff where its incredible it made air in companies that were PG, had standards and practices to answer to or clearly aimed at an audience of children.

Remember at Starrcade 1996, Debra McMichael cuts a promo on Woman and says she's been “rode hard and put up wet" too many times. Gene can't cut her off quick enough. Tickles me every time I think of it. Debra comedy gold. Who knew?

This one was also on PPV, technically, but Sherri going out in front of an audience of children in Miami at Royal Rumble 1991 to essentially offer to suck off the Warrior for a title shot is an incredible choice. Warrior turning her down must have started those rumours that newspaper in Australia printed.

Sherri was getting stripped to her bra and knicks on house shows around that time too. WWF in 1991 was wild.

Along with a particularly saucy episode of Allo Allo, I think Sherri getting ready to blow Warrior led to Ol’ Chico’s sexual awakening. The fact that both Rene and Mean Gene were there and were both balding, mustachioed fellows playing a role in the aforementioned sexual awakening is something I have been talking about with my therapist for years (and Rene looked very much like Warriors opponent that day, Sgt Slaughter).

James Mitchell/Sinister Ministers early days as Darryl Van Horn in Smoky Mountain. Sadly he was saddled with Prince Kharis but his promos were incredible.

He managed to swear on TV in carny, passing it off as speaking in tongues "Feeezuk, keeezunt" and called Tony Anthony's wife Kimberley a "walking yeast infection" but this is perhaps the most un-PC one of them all.

"I want all these fans to take their tongues out of their Grandmother's mouths and quit felching the family dog'.

Mitchell said years later that seeing as nobody in the crowd or the TV station knew what he was talking about anyway he would try and be as controversial as he could be on purpose just to pop himself and those who did know what he was saying. 

I have only clipped the felching line (hopefully) but the longer video is worth a watch just to see what he gets away with.

I think what makes Mitchell's bits more amusing is Bob Caudle standing next to him completely oblivious to the references. I think another time he mentioned his wrestler having a harem and listing off Nina Hartley and every other notable porn actress that popped into his head.

He did, yes. If you click on "Watch full video" it is on there. Brilliant.

He also says that he is studying several subjects, including necrophilia, and says the sentence "bobbing for apples in a colostomy bag" which I don't think has ever been uttered by anyone, ever, before or since.

Just cos I watched it last night whilst doing dinner (as a side-note, how lucky are we now that we literally have thousands of hours of footage we can watch almost anywhere - back in the early 90's I had about 10 tapes that I almost wore out whenever I had the rare chance to play them on the family VCR - mind you, had I had the access we do now back then I doubt I would've left the house as a 12 year old!)

1991-92 was a great time to become a fan because you had Bessemer trying to impale Undertaker with a sword, Undertaker trying to kill Warrior by locking him in a casket, Earthquake killing Damien and serving him up as burgers, Jake trying to kill Macho by setting new snake on him, Jake locking up Warrior in a dungeon full of snakes, Mountie trying to kill Bret by pouring water on him and shocking him with the electric cattle prod, Slaughter kidnapping pukamaniacs and flushing their heads down a bog and probably other examples.

Basically watching crazy roided cartoon characters trying to all murder each other while having lunch.
