Members SuperBacon Posted November 6, 2025 Members Posted November 6, 2025 RIP Judge Sizmick. Also not On Cinema related but this made me laugh so much, with them being two of my favourite people ever. Quote
Paid Members Jesse Posted November 7, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted November 7, 2025 Webster is fantastic in the trial, really holds the whole thing together and is a huge part of making it feel so believable despite the cartoon nature of Tim & Gregg. Current season spoilers Spoiler The Dekkar performance in the nursing home killed me this week. Absolutely ridiculous. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 18 Paid Members Posted February 18 (edited) Having lapsed on keeping up-to-date with it the last year or so since watching Taskmaster, I'm going back to the beginning. Again. Hopefully to complete it all in time for the next Oscers. Edited February 18 by Devon Malcolm Quote
Paid Members Jesse Posted February 19 Author Paid Members Posted February 19 It continues to be well worth it. It amazes me how they cotninue to find things to do with this after it running for so long but this season has had me in stitches, one of my favourites post-trial. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted February 19 Members Posted February 19 I really need to get back in the swing of it, I think I'm up to series 11, as I'm really getting Oscar fever now, and hope you got it too. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted March 12 Members Posted March 12 Greggs doing a Reddit AMA tomorrow. I think it's out of character, but you never know. https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/s/71z7yl13tM I've asked him if he's ever had a chippy tea. Quote
Paid Members Jesse Posted March 18 Author Paid Members Posted March 18 I watched this year's Oscar Special and had a good time but wasn't in love with it. Without going too much into it, it revolves around Tim's new dogshit cartoon 'DootleDots' and it was decent but didn't really hook me like some past years. However, the cartoon has broken out of the OCATC circle on social media in the last 24 hours and the commuity's jokes are being taken seriously by the kind of young online audience that treats cartoons very seriously and I am forced to admit that I was wrong and Tim & Gregg have absolutely done it again. I love every time a new person stumbles across it and then gets clips of the trial shared and takes them as real, what a beautiful world. Quote
HandsomeButchIII Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) "I died in 1975." *BOING* Mark Proksch doing his Three Stooges in one of my happy places. "Hey Moe, whatcha doing?" And for all us Greggheads. And anyone worth their salt is a Gregghead,, he's also a top Bee Gees man as well as a true expert on film . Here's an old webpage with him reviewing every album of their's. And he's right, For Whom the Bell Tolls is a colossus of a song. https://www.markprindle.com/beegees.htm#sgt Edited March 19 by HandsomeButchIII Quote

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted March 19 Paid Members Posted March 19 They've really missed a trick by not having Gregg get a kayfabe Letterboxd account. They could get so much mileage out of that. Quote

Paid Members Chris B Posted April 26 Paid Members Posted April 26 Haven't seen this talked about here - the recent InfoWars stuff is amazing. So, The Onion now have the rights to InfoWars, and they've brought in Tim Heidecker as the creative lead to figure out what they're going to do with it. Alex Jones has been freaking out, not least because he hasn't twigged how much On Cinema is fiction, so he's shared Tim's mugshot from The Trial as real. https://www.thedailybeast.com/obsessed/alex-jones-loses-it-over-fake-mugshot-of-new-infowars-boss-tim-heidecker/ This is all kind of amazing stuff. I've been working my way through On Cinema for the last few months and it's as amazing as everyone has said. I had been skipping the Oscar specials as the first one didn't grab me and I was still working my way through, but the pre-Trial one is incredible, so I'll have to go back. With the context surrounding it, The Trial is incredible - genuinely a work of art. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted April 26 Members Posted April 26 Alex Jones has every right to freak out. That man was responsible for multiple deaths at a music festival. He's evil and should be in jail. Quote
HandsomeButchIII Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I personally blame Mark Prkoshc. It's Tim's right to beat him as was proven in court. And also, he let down some bloke called Niel, Neel? Neel Hamburgers (whoever he is) for a gig in Birmingham to do the Pointer Sisters Neutron Dance. Quote
