AEW has a history of doing first matches to build to rematches, laying some groundwork and sowing seeds in the first, then exploding with the second. Besides, when Fletcher turns on Billy for not winning the tag belts and Mark Davis comes back, Osprey will need a tag partner... And it never has. Ticket sales are decent for them, PPV numbers are always similar give or take.
