MVP RULZ Posted January 5, 2023 Author Share Posted January 5, 2023 In a week when this competition felt all so meaningless I write this with encouraging news coming from the Bills about the health of Damar Hamlin, still a very long road to go of course but in terms of where things looked just a couple of days ago its been a very positive last 24 hours I delayed writing this as I was waiting on any news of the week being postponed but that option seems to have been dismissed now whilst It looks almost a certainty the Bengals/Bills game will not be finished (should it be played all picks from this week will count and be added to the final totals) and the NFL I imagine will announce something within the next 48 hours of what the plan will be going forward, I've seen all sorts of rumours floating around from Neutral fields for the Championship game to an extra 8th team added to the playoffs to remove the bye for the no1 seed. Note: For those that are new to the game or those just wanting a quick refresher below Is a detailed explanation of how things will work over the next few weeks during the NFL Playoffs (Superbowl round has further explanations but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it) SUPER WILDCARD WEEKEND (6 GAMES) - Pick winners in each of the 6 games (as per regular season) - Pick 1 Quarterback, 1 Running Back, 1 Wide Receiver, 1 Tight End, 1 Kicker and 1 Defence/Special team from the teams involved in the round SCORING WILL WORK AS FOLLOWS - 1 Point for every correct Match prediction (as per regular season) -QB: 3 points for every TD pass, 6 points for every TD they score personally, 1 Point for every 50 yards passing, 1 Point for every 10 yards Rushing/receiving, Minus 2 Points for every Interception throw or Fumble lost -RB: 6 points for every rushing or receiving TD, 1 point for every 10 yards rushing/receiving. Minus 2 points for every lost fumble -WR/TE: 6 points for every receiving or rushing TD, 1 point for every 10 yards Receiving/rushing. Minus 2 points for every fumble lost -KICKER: 1 point for every extra point made and 3 points for every FG made.
