Now now, he was upset that his team had overturned his decision to use one of the normal scoops instead of the experimental one. Losing to those kids has nothing to do with it, and that's the story he's going to stick to every time he gets the piss ripped out of him about it for the rest of his life.

Has anyone else been watching Battlebots on Spike? Its like Robot Wars juiced up to the gills on steroids.

 

You get a robot in Robot Wars that only uses their axe or hammer a couple of times before the gas that powers it runs out, or more often then not their robot just stops working altogether and just sits in the middle of the arena doing fuck all. Yet in Battlebots you have some fucker running around the arena using their hammer constantly the whole match whilst at the same spurting huge flames at their opponents. Its almost comical how different the quality of the robots are between the two shows

They have different fighting rules and some of the Roboteers from Robot Wars have Battle bots, bots but cant enter the UK version due to stuff like weight weapons and the like. I think battlebot teams also get cash boosts from sponsors, but it's been a while since I last looked so that may have changed.
