Well, this is awkward. Not only is this behind schedule, but I've also gone top of the table following my D2D. Never mind that scores were chronically low compared to most previous international rounds - Austria weren't supposed to win, guys! Or at least, if Russia were going to be that rubbish, more of you could've seen it coming. In the end Ratty surrendered the summit by making his picks late, whilst TildeGuy couldn't take advantage as he was one of the joint worst performers among those who got their guesses in on time.

So, 18 of you disagreed with me and I'm 12 points clear. Whoops. Luckily I should rediscover my terrible form soon and it should be exciting to see who among the chasing pack overtakes me. Without my artificial boost, Rory would've been clear best scorer this time out and the only participant into double figures. Seph remains last, with the gap down to 3 points.

Very few three-pointers all round this week, but home wins for England, Germany (whom nobody expected to score fewer than 5), Romania and Scotland all proved fruitful. Away victories for Denmark and Senegal were harder to foresee, whilst many didn't think reigning Caribbean champions Cuba would get a draw against the Trinidadians (who are better known in this country, to be fair). Equally, Ghana's reverse in Uganda caught a lot of people out, and most failed to bet on a stalemate in Brussels.
