Unsurprisingly everyone went for a City win at Carrow Road, which surprisingly didn't pan out. All the results are in the initial post and Foggy will sort out the update and table when he can.

My eternal gratitude once again to Two-Face for all this. He really went above and beyond by linking to the table and by editing the original post with the scorelines. Although I was able to get online on Wednesday morning, I only had two fiddly little devices that were fast running out of battery with no access to my spreadsheet or way of easily keeping multiple tabs open.

I'm still not home, so I'm trying to do this from a cyber place in my old haunt of Santiago - in Spain, not the one in Chile. (I am only in Europe again as my budget won't quite stretch to 'globetrotting' yet!) I had originally planned this trip for the late spring, which might've still overlapped with our season but would've been more in keeping with the concept of 'minimal disruption'. However, at the beginning of December I saw how much cheaper flights were and decided to bring it forward to February. Sadly, now I'm here and I see what the weather is like, I know why the tickets were so inexpensive.

Anyway, this isn't meant to be a personal blog thread, so I'll get on with the update. Luckily I can keep this brief. It was a phenomenally low-scoring round, truth be told. There was no outright lowest scorer among those who got their picks in on time, and nobody came anywhere near double figures. At the wrong end of the table, the gap has increased back to 10 points, but at the top, TildeGuy was the highest scorer, so he has reduced MVP RULZ's advantage by 3 to a 'mere' 28 points. There was no movement whatsoever in the top half of the standings, and very little elsewhere, really.

As well as the aforementioned Norwich game catching everyone out, the Stranraer match in which they earned a surprise replay with Inverness was also a dud. Two people did think there'd be an upset in the Scottish Cup, but wrongly thought it'd be at Forfar, where the exact margin of victory proved difficult to guess. Away victories in relegation battles for the Hammers and the Tigers were less than fruitful too, with home wins for Spurs and Swansea only slightly easier to come by. Hamburg's loss to Hertha over in Germany was of little use as well, but fortunately expected triumphs for Bayern and Chelsea saved a point or three for many participants by being eminently more foreseeable.

I'll try to get back by here this time tomorrow at the latest in order to post the card for the next round.
