The results went into the original post soon after the last match finished, and the updated table was uploaded a few hours later. Although Rory got his D2D wrong, the sub-heading is misleading: the round wasn't that unlucky for him. The random Danish team lost at home, which 20 of the other 22 participants this time out saw coming. However, despite not getting any bonus points, Mr Fice still made it into double figures, thereby making him joint 4th highest scorer along with TUFCfan.

In fact, the only players who incorrectly agreed with Rory bucked the D2D trend by doing even better. Shy Dad was equal second best performer with ultimo on 11 points each, while El Espanacas (or whatever he's called this week) was outright top with his haul of a dozen points. Five people were joint lowest scorers with five points apiece, including SNRN10 who managed to salvage that many points despite only making his picks in time for the Sunday games. The gap at the wrong end of the standings is cut to 8 points, while both of the leading duo only got 6 points, so the difference between them remains close at 7.

The other Danish fixture didn't prove too fruitful, ending as it did in a stalemate, but the narrow home win at the Camp Nou was a lot more useful. The German clash, although almost everyone got the result right, wasn't so good for exact scores as most expected it to have a wider margin of victory. None of the EPL outcomes was helpful for three-pointers either. Sunderland's derby triumph created a dud, but to be fair, judging from the Prem thread on here, even Black Cats fans assumed they were heading for a hiding beforehand.

A goal 12 minutes from time at Needham Market prevented another dud as Cambridge Utd came through a tricky clash away to massive underdogs, though again, a majority couldn't imagine the cup tie would be that close. An injury-time equaliser for Shortwood against Aldershot cost a lot of people at least a point... and Shortwood have gone one better by winning the replay at The Recreation Ground tonight!

New thread with 10 more meetings coming up in about half an hour.
