Got all my entrants in order and a few spots written down, will add more detail on the coach to London for Liger tomorrow, then type it up and add pictures and hopefully post it on Sunday. Sorry it's taken so long, these last few weeks have been even madder than I expected.

I don't blame you if you don't. I'd leave it another couple of years at least, make sure everyone has the energy for it. I could really easily have given up at this point because I'm doing a million things at the moment - new job, dissertation, possibly running two professional Twitter accounts at once - but I'm not giving up, because this has been a shitload of fun and I don't want to tap out now.Incidentally, I'm halfway through my Rumble now, with all the back story spelled out in a decent amount of detail too. Gonna have to stop for tonight because I'm knackered from the Liger show yesterday, but I'll get it up soon, probably late tomorrow.

Semi-Final 1) Up Chuck vs Harmonic GeneratorLet's RumbleI know that Rumble fever has well and truly died down by now, but I still think there's plenty of fun to be had with this one. I have so, so much love for the Rumble, both as a PPV and for the Rumble itself. There's been so many great moments over the years and it truly is only second to Wrestlemania in terms of importance on the WWE PPV calender. We get surprise entrants, big moments and the Road to Wrestlemania officially starts. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to book an ENTIRE 30-Man Royal Rumble from start to finish. We want to know ALL 30 entrants and see ALL 29 eliminations. Set it in whichever time period you want, including re-writing the history of a past Royal Rumble if you wish.

Keeping my intro here minimal, because as well as a ton of pictures including several potentially browser-killing gifs, this is almost SIX THOUSAND FUCKING WORDS, A THOUSAND WORDS LONGER THAN ANY ESSAY I EVER DID AT UNI.So. Set in a reality where some recent WWE events happened, interspersed with some slightly-changed stuff from my previous entries, I give to you...
THE 2014 ROYAL RUMBLETHE BACKGROUND

The biggest deal in the WWE Universe is that the main event for Wrestlemania has been signed - The Rock vs Brock Lesnar. Promos, staredowns, contract inked, all done back in November after Rock's team beat a Heyman-assembled squad at Survivor Series. However, this doesn't really affect us here, because both guys are on hiatus until after Elimination Chamber - Rock filming Fast and Furious 16.5 or some shit, and Lesnar masturbating to Ayn Rand books in a hunting cabin in Minnesota. Nonetheless, that's looming in the background, meaning that the events in and around the Rumble will only be adding to what already feels like a massive card.As for the guys who are around, Curtis Axel has had a meteoric rise to the top and has beat Chris Masters at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship (slightly retconning the aftermath of my last entry). Dolph Ziggler has held on to Big Gold for the entirety of the year and has built up a ton of heat along the way. On the show itself, Axel will be defending against the recently-returned Triple H in a heated conclusion to their program from the previous summer, and Ziggler will be challenged by Sheamus to blow off a throwaway feud with what'll probably be a pretty good undercard match. As for guys in the Rumble, someone in Creative must still be haunted by the underwhelming nothingness that was 2012, because this one's star-studded to buggery. Just a few of the names on offer are...

johncena_1_full_20121120.pngJohn CenaNot wanting to be upstaged by two guys he's beaten, Cena's looking to make it two in a row. He's been talking a big game about wanting to top Rock vs Brock and make his Wrestlemania even bigger.cmpunk_1_full_20130221.pngCM PunkBack again after no-showing Payback and multiple other shows last year, mainly to the benefit of Curtis Axel, the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era wants the gold back and a Paul Heyman Guys double-whammy main event at Wrestlemania. Heyman himself, though, seems unusually reluctant to back Punk up at the moment. Has their relationship turned sour?ryback_1_full.pngRybackStill mardy, still wearing a hat, still wants to be the top dog. He's never won the big one, but a couple of big wins over guys like Orton and Sheamus the previous year have shown that we still can't count him out. Can anyone get in his way? And what'll happen to them if they do? As it happens, he appears to have some unfinished business with Mark Henry, who looks like he might be en route to a face turn...the-shield.jpgThe ShieldThey've lost a bit of momentum after two or three upsetting losses last year, but the Hounds of Justice are still a fearsome unit, and they've now got Paul Heyman officially (although rarely physically) in their corner, promising that he has a plan in store for the Rumble. In the match where the numbers count the most, The Shield are looking as dangerous as they ever have. Will they be able to work their magic and turn 27-on-3 to their advantage?ricflair_1_full.pngRic FlairPopping up at the beginning of January, Flair's got into some scuffles with Curtis Axel, and has been eyed up from afar by the Shield. This has got Naitch's blood up, and he's been begging Vickie and Vince for weeks to let him come back for one last run. In the end, they gave in, on one condition - he gets the blessing of the man who retired him, Shawn Michaels. After umming and aahing for reasons apparent only to himself, HBK finally agrees on the go-home Raw, before walking off looking thoughtful. What's that all about? Who knows, but the Nature Boy's back, and he wants a golden ticket to Wrestlemania!

But that wasn't how the go-home Raw ended. Oh, no. The go-home Raw ended with all these huge names and more around the ringside area, ready to tear into each other, when suddenly, we heard a gong as the show went off air. Looks like Flair's not the only one interested in a final hurrah...Oh, and Team Hell No split up before Summerslam with Kane turning on Bryan, had a red-hot blow-off match which Bryan won, and Kane hasn't been seen since.

THE EVENT

The show kicks off with the sinister Wyatt Family winning their first titles, as Luke Harper and Eric Rowan down the Usos dirty style for the tag belts, leaving Rikishi's kids fuming around backstage later on. Wade Barrett, Kofi Kingston, The Miz and anyone else in the midcard I've deliberately forgotten later are all involved in Intercontinental or US title matches or something else throwaway. Ziggler beats Sheamus with fun cheating, and Axel retains over Triple H in a gritty brawl. And throughout the night, we get a series of backstage segments with Striker trying to get into Vickie's office to ask about the draw for numbers, but being fucked off because she's busy arguing with Heyman (banned from ringside for Axel's match), who eventually emerges looking relieved but exhausted (ooh-er). Only one thing left them.

THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH

Justin Roberts runs down the rules. Who's got the short straws, then?

BigELangston.jpg#1: BIG E LANGSTON

As number 1 entrants go, Big E's looking pretty confident. 29 people to penis-block and impale on his shoulder? Could be worse. Maybe number 2 is the real loser in this draw...

sin-cara.jpg#2: SIN CARA

Knocking around in the mid card again, Sin Cara was always a pretty solid shout for an early entry. As the bell rings, everyone's looking forward to seeing him get some fun spots in befoOH SHIT, Big E slams into him, blasts him with a Big Ending and chucks him out!SIN CARA ELIMINATEDWell, shit. What a start. Maybe Big E's confidence isn't misplaced. Will number 3 get run over this easily?

Zack-Ryder1.jpg#3: ZACK RYDER

Woo woo woo, you fucking know it. A Rough Rider attempt countered into a turnbuckle powerbomb, a Big Ending, and Long Island Iced Z's done, broski.ZACK RYDER ELIMINATEDSo far, so similar to Jonnyboy's porn bookmarks. Number 4's gonna have to be something special to turn this tide.

1-17-2013%203-22-21%20PM.jpg#4: ADRIAN NEVILLE

Now we're talking. The Joompin' Geordeee bounces about the place, catching Langston with a bunch of strikes, the last of which knocks the big man down for the first time tonight. Neville senses an opportunity and heads up top for British Airways, but Langston's wise to his game and lifts him off the top with ease. Neville pulls off a spectacular counter into a hurricanrana, and seems to be in control against all odds as the clock ticks down...chhhhkSIERRA! HOTEL! INDIA!

SD_714_Photo_092.jpg#5: DEAN AMBROSE

So here we go, the first Shield member up. As the commentators muse on their possible tactics, Ambrose saunters through the crowd as usual, but after hopping the barrier, he charges the ring and starts flailing on Neville like a madman. Neville's grounded, but manages to twist to his feet and nail some more sweet strikes before a Big E clothesline floors him. Michael Cole observes that the Shield seem to be able to play the numbers game to their advantage even when it's not their numbers. JBL chimes in and suggests that could see us with a Shield winner. Lawler mentions that Ambrose has only been in the ring thirty seconds, but the dynamic has already changed. Then they all go back to making shit self-conscious jokes as Ambrose and Langston beat Neville down and dump him out to boos.ADRIAN NEVILLE ELIMINATEDWell, we've had a couple of dangerous guys in a row. Will the next man out be able to survive the apparent alliance between Langston and Ambrose?

15-darren-young.jpg#4: DARREN YOUNG

Nah. Poor Darren, he's decent enough, but tonight's not his night, not least because he seems to have got his comb stuck for the second year running. Mr No Days Off takes a half-day, as Langston levels him and Ambrose flattens that sweet 'fro with a bulldog driver.DARREN YOUNG ELIMINATEDAll too easy for Langston and Ambrose so far, as they pace the ring making serious faces. Sounds like it's time to get funky up in heah.

Funkasarus.jpg#7: BRODUS CLAY

Watcha say now? Brodus hits the ring, ducks a Big E clothesline, and lays Ambrose the fuck out with a cross-body. Big E is stopped in his tracks with jiggling, then beaten back into a corner. Funky's on a roll! Ambrose bails and Langston backs off, waiting to see how the next entrant affects their odds.

Wyatt.jpg#8: BRAY WYATT

The Wyatt Family's hypnotic patriarch struts out with mic in hand, promising to wash the Rumble of its dirt and leave it changed forever. He preaches down the aisle, keeping Brodus facing forward and letting Langston clobber him from behind. Ambrose gets in on the action as Wyatt climbs in and enjoys the view with a twisted smirk on his face. Is Brodus done for?

RAW_999_Photo_048.jpg#9: RIKISHI

Dancing fat dudes got each other's back. Rikishi heads out and stares down Langston and Ambrose, before decking Wyatt with a superkick. Wyatt goes down in the corner, but before the inevitable can happen, Harper and Rowan hit the ring and start beating Big Kish down. Of course, this leads to the kids coming to dad's rescue, and the Usos get a little bit of revenge on the Wyatt Family as all three of them go over the top.BRAY WYATT ELIMINATEDLangston and Ambrose take their chance and jump the family reunion, taking all three guys down. But Brodus is back up and fighting, and the countdown only turns things in his favour...

SD_709_Photo_063.jpg#10: TENSAI

Sweet T hits the ring. Ambrose and Langston go down. It's Rikishi, the Usos, and Tons of Funk left standing. What happens now?

tons-of-funk-1757805.jpgAlum_Rikishi_1.jpgSD_717_Photo_039.jpgWWE_Raw_07162012_Rikishi_Usos.jpg

Fuck yeah. The fun can't last though. Everyone dances, oblivious to the countdown, but when the hooter goes...ChhhhhkSIERRA! HOTEL! INDIA!...

21195_199315293525491_644696689_n.png#11: ROMAN REIGNS

Shit just got real. As Reigns makes his way down, Langston lays out the already-battered Usos and Ambrose sends their dad packing.RIKISHI ELIMINATEDReigns gets in the mix and Tons of Funk are soon done for.TENSAI ELIMINATEDBRODUS CLAY ELIMINATEDSo it looks like while they're hanging around for Rollins, The Shield have found themselves a new buddy, right? Wrong. As soon as Clay and Tensai hit the floor, Ambrose and Reigns turn round and set their sights on a new target. Unflappable as ever, Big E stretches his neck, shakes his arms out and takes the fight straight to them. He knocks them back a few times but is eventually overwhelmed and beaten down in the corner. Time to take charge. They pick him up and run him towards the ropes... but Big E grabs the top rope and brings them to a standstill. Ambrose and Reigns look at each other, trying to figure out their next move, but Big E throws them off and gives them a death stare. It's stalemate. 2-on-1, but that 1 is a wall of muscle. But that 2 is two thirds of the most calculating faction in the company's history. Nobody dares move as the countdown starts.

Daniel_Bryan.jpg#12: DANIEL BRYAN

Flight of the Valkyries strikes up and Bryan charges the ring. He wants to make a big impression and he still loves a pop at the Shield. Steaming down, he ducks Ambrose and Reigns' attempts at a jump attack and flies feet first at Langston, sending the number one entrant flailing straight over the top rope!BIG E LANGSTON ELIMINATEDBryan charges for the Shield, dropkicking Ambrose back into a corner then going to town with kicks on Reigns. Ambrose tries to grab him and gets his legs battered with more kicks for his trouble. Reigns goes for a spear but Bryan dodges it, leaving Ambrose to get blasted by his own partner! Kicks to the chest! Kicks to the head! Kicks! Kicks! Kicks!

3097270165_1_13_5JDVFL3x.gifdanielbryanwwe_crop_exact.jpg

Bryan's on fire, and the WWE Universe is blowing the roof off the joint with "YES! YES! YES!". The Shield, unbelievably, look helpless.

SD_662_Photo_080.jpg#13: ANTONIO CESARO

Lucky for some, but the Swiss Superman rushes the ring to be met with a barrage of kicks from Bryan, who's just. Not. Stopping. Eventually he hits the ropes and Cesaro manages to get a word in.

vxPV6.gif

The word was "smack", if you were wondering. But Bryan's not going down that easy. Cesaro attempts to pick him up for a Neutralizer, but Bryan catches him and drags him down!

SD__665_058.jpg

Cesaro's tapping, but Ambrose and Reigns jump Bryan and decide to put a hurtin' on him for a while. Outside the ring, into the barrier, into the post, back inside for some stomps and chokes in the corner. Cesaro gets to his feet looking all smug, but that soon changes as the countdown comes and the guy he's been getting into it with on Smackdown is on his way. "DAMAS Y CABALLEROS..."

DelRio1_display_image.jpg#14: El es... ALBERTOOOOOO.... uhDEEELL RRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOO!

Del Rio's straight on Cesaro, and they trade a couple of nifty mat reversals before Del Rio sinks in the Cross Armbreaker. Cesaro pulls off a big strength counter, and both men are down. The Shield set Bryan up for something nasty looking, but it's countdown time again...

chris-jericho-royal-rumble-20131.jpg#15: CHRIS JERICHO

The Ayatolah of Rock 'n' Rolla is back from another round of toilet venues in England with Fozzy, and ready to mix it up again! He charges to the ring full of pep... only to be levelled with a Reigns spear and dumped straight back out.CHRIS JERICHO ELIMINATEDThe Shield ain't messing around. It's time to take out the trash. Cesaro and Del Rio both take finishers and are on their bikes.ALBERTO DEL RIO ELIMINATEDANTONIO CESARO ELIMINATEDJust one man left. Ambrose and Reigns turn to find Daniel Bryan struggling along the floor. He fights them off with some strikes and an attempted No Lock, but soon succumbs to the numbers game once again. He's getting leathered with stomps, knees and clubbing blows as the clock runs down again. "This next entrant could be the only thing that can save Daniel Bryan here!", Cole states bluntly. 3, 2, 1...

20120315_kane.jpg#16: KANE

Lights down, flames up, and the Big Red Machine walks out to his biggest pop in years. Not wasting any time, he's in the ring in seconds, peppering Ambrose and Reigns with uppercuts, boots, side slams, body slams, and anything else he can think of. The stunned Hounds of Justice bail through the ropes and hop the barriers! "What are The Shield doing?", demands Cole. "Looks like a retreat to me!", JBL responds. In the ring, Bryan and Kane size each other up.

kane-bryan.jpg

They step a little closer together. A few voices pipe up in the crowd. "Yeah!" "Do it!"Kane and Bryan look around. The noise starts to build."HUG IT OUT! HUG IT OUT! HUG IT OUT!"They step a little closer."Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."

Kane_Daniel_Bryan_WWEHug.gif

"YEAH!"Children jump up and down with glee. Adults high-5 with tears in their eyes. The WWE Universe is united in unbridled joy, and somewhere in Calgary, Bret Hart gives it 4 out of 10.The reunited Team Hell No don't have much time to celebrate, though, because the clock's back to 10 and the Shield are still hanging about. In fact, speaking of...

roll_display_image.jpg#17: SETH ROLLINS

Ohhhh shit. It's on now. The full unit of The Shield huddle at ringside, going over some last-minute strategy. Clearly that retreat was perfectly timed. They spread out and surround the ring, then attack through a defensive barrage from Kane and Bryan, overwhelming them and grinding them down.Cole: "Everyone's worst fears have come true. The Shield are dominating the Royal Rumble."King: "Kane and Daniel Bryan had better hope the next entrant is a friendly face."

viper.png#18: RANDY ORTON

Again, his biggest pop in a while, because the crowd have realised what Cole's currently frantically pointing out - it's the reunion of the first team to ever beat The Shield! The Apex Predator gives us a little smirk, then sprints to the ring and starts throwing bombs - punches, clotheslines, a backbreaker for Ambrose, a powerslam for Rollins. He chucks them into the ropes and sets up for a double hanging DDT, but Reigns clobbers him from behind and backs into a corner. It's spear time. Reigns charges and...

FROMOUDDANOWHERE! An RKO puts Reigns out cold on the floor, and Orton's back to his feet. Ambrose tries a sneak attack but Orton ducks, and Ambrose runs right into...

kane_ambrose_PAY_Photo_129_crop_650.jpg

Bleurghargharbleuegh. Kane hoists him, but Rollins smacks him with a jumping enzigurri. Orton yanks him round and goes for the RKO, but gets shoved off into the ropes, flailing precariously and nearly going over. Quick as a flash, Roman Reigns is up, and charges, grabs Kane, throws him into Orton and sends them both out!RANDY ORTON ELIMINATEDKANE ELIMINATEDWhich means we're right back here.

ShieldBryan_original_crop_north_display_image.jpg

Only one thing for it. Ambrose and Rollins grab Bryan by the arms and pull him to his unsteady feet. They get him in position for the lift as Reigns lets out a feral roar. But The Shield have forgotten the countdown. 3, 2, 1, RRRRRRRRRNK..."WHOOO!"

ricflair.jpg#19: RIC FLAIR

The Shield leave Bryan in a heap. He can wait. They've been eyeing Flair up ever since he came back, and as Naitch struts to the ring without missing a beat, you can almost see the Hounds salivating at the prospect before them. The 16-time World Champion takes his time, whoooing with the crowd, soaking in the atmosphere once more, loving every second of being back. But the nostalgia kick can't last. Flair cautiously climbs the steps, ditches the robe, and makes his way very slowly into the ring. The music's stopped. The crowd, going nuts a second ago, have turned to apprehensive murmurs. As Flair steps out of the corner, The Shield fan out, looking to surround him.JBL begs Flair to get out of there. Lawler says he's thinking about going in there to help Flair, but Cole and JBL hurriedly talk him down. The atmosphere is filled with dread over what's about to happen. But Flair's nothing if not a game-player, and he's timed things perfectly. The two minutes have zipped past and the clock's counting down to ten. Ambrose looks Flair dead in the eyes and says "This'd better be someone who likes you."3, 2, 1, RRRRRRRRNK.Dun-dun-dun-dun OH! OH! SHAWN!

michaels3_1jpg52-other.jpg#20: SHAWN MICHAELS

And just like that, everything becomes clear. That's why he wasn't sure about giving Flair his blessing to return - he knew it'd tempt him back too! But has Shawn sought out The Undertaker's permission? That'll all have to wait. Michaels is in the ring with Flair facing The Shield. Behind them, Bryan is back to his feet. He locks eyes with his mentor, the man who trained him... and then all hell breaks loose. Bryan throws himself at The Shield, blasting Reigns with all the kicks he has left in him. Flair leathers Ambrose with chops, and Michaels does likewise to Rollins. Ambrose gets a thumb in Flair's eye, sending the Nature Boy down to one knee... where he nails Ambrose with a MASSIVE low blow! Michaels breaks away from Rollins to nail Ambrose with a perfectly-placed Sweet Chin Music, sending him over and out!DEAN AMBROSE ELIMINATEDThe numbers quickly get evened up, though, as Rollins takes advantage of the distraction to sneak up behind Bryan and dump him over to end his impressive run.DANIEL BRYAN ELIMINATEDReigns decks Michaels with a clothesline, then backs up to a corner again. But as he's about to charge, Flair nails another huge low blow on Rollins and throws him out!SETH ROLLINS ELIMINATEDReigns shakes off the distraction and charges... straight into Sweet Chin Music! Reigns staggers to the ropes, and Michaels and Flair link arms to clothesline him over!ROMAN REIGNS ELIMINATEDHoly shit! Holy shit! They've done it! The Shield are out of the Royal Rumble! The Hounds of Justice lie in bits around the ring, and the crowd is loving every second of it as Paul Heyman jogs down the entranceway in dismay, inspecting the damage. He looks over his shoulder nervously. What's he been planning? Maybe we're about to find out...3, 2, 1...

CM-Punk-Entrance-588x200.jpg#21: CM PUNK

Ohhhhh. That was the plan! They were there to protect Punk, just like before. Punk saunters up to Heyman and pats him on the shoulder, thanking him for at least trying to keep him safe. Heyman, though, looks worried, and runs off to the back without a word. Punk's confused, but instead of letting it worry him, he turns, struts to the ring, and... stands on the outside. He doesn't fancy a 2-on-1 with the Hall of Famers, prompting Flair to tell Michaels to step back and let him go 1-on-1. Punk's tempted, but declines. He stalls. And he stalls. And he stalls, all the way to the next countdown. Will it pay off?

26_Nottingham_0423_NOTTINGHAM_04232013ej_1479.jpg#22: RYBACK

Eh, worked pretty well. Ryback's hungry, and is in no mood to hang out at ringside. Within seconds, Flair and Michaels are both on the mat and hurting. Punk decides he's done enough chilling for now and joins in with some stomps and knees. Not wanting to miss the party, the regrouped Shield slide back in and take a little bit of revenge on the legends. The crowd are screaming for Flair and Michaels, who are taking a beating. The commentators are begging for someone to stop this. But who can? Superman Cena? The Undertaker? Punk's strongly rumoured Wrestlemania opponent Stone Cold Steve Austin? Surely, someone, surely...

Everyone freezes. Everyone's in shock. The implications hit everybody's mind instantly - what about the match with The Rock? The match that's already all over billboards in New Orleans, in national newspapers, being talked about on mainstream telly. What's going to happen?Lesnar strolls up and stands next to Heyman, who looks at the ring, back at his client, then breaks into a massive shit-eating grin. This was his plan. This was why Heyman wanted The Shield in place. Punk is livid, berating Heyman for this apparent betrayal while looking lost over exactly what he's going to do about it. He probably shouldn't be thinking about it quite so much, though, because while The Shield are contemplating their next move, Michaels has staggered to his feet and is lining Punk up. With no idea what to do, Punk turns and eats Shawn's right boot.CM PUNK ELIMINATEDAnother huge scalp for Michaels! He's alright at this comeback stuff, isn't he? He should watch his back though, because there's a big hungry bugger right behind him. Ryback grabs Michaels by the hair, but he pauses as Lesnar enters the ring. Their eyes meet, and the commentators anticipate a titanic battle... but Ryback rolls out of the ring.King: "How many superstars are gonna stand around outside the ring tonight?"JBL: "Says the guy who hid under it!"King: "Hey, if you're gonna be a coward, at least be smart about it! Hide somewhere!"Cole: "Well, for one, it's kinda hard for Ryback to really hide anywhere, and two, I don't think you should call him a coward when he's standing so close to us."Lesnar stares Ryback down, before turning round into SWEET CHIN MUSIC! ...which he catches with ease. He hoists Michaels up and sends him crashing down with the F5. A perverse grin on his and Heyman's faces, he rolls Michaels over and mounts him. He lands a couple of nonchalant punches, then pulls Michales up and starts setting up the Kimura. But he pauses. He spots Flair in the corner, unable to get up. Lesnar forgets Michaels for a minute. He stalks Flair in the corner, waiting to pick his spot. Flair meets his gaze all the way, silent but defiant. Lesnar reaches down and grabs a handful of blonde-white hair... and is met with a MASSIVE LOW BLOW! The Beast Incarnate is brought to his knees! And even though Flair can't get up, he musters a "WHOOOO!" to the delight of the WWE Universe. Lesnar struggles up with a face like a slapped arse, then turns and throws a vicious knee to Flair in the corner, with Heyman egging him on. Lesnar throws another knee, then turns round to make sure Michaels is still down as the clock pops up again.

tumblr_md26foFWn71rizmzpo1_1280.png#24: TITUS O'NEIL

HOORA-HOORA-HOORA-HOORA! Backed up by a still-smarting Darren Young, the Big Deal makes his way down for a shot at a Wrestlemania paycheque worth MILLIONSADOLLAS! Of course, he immediately gets clotheslined by a pissed-off Lesnar, who also goes back down, still nursing his crotch. All four men are on the floor. That can only mean one thing...

kip-up2.gif

KIP UP! Titus is up too... atomic drop! Punch! Body slam! Michaels is on fire! He's going up top...

NewPicture123.jpg

BIG ELBOW! The leg's twitching! The Universe are going nuts! The stomps in the corner! Can Michaels kick out another young pretender? He lines him up, but Lesnar springs up and catches him from behind, sending him flying with an ENORMOUS German Suplex. He clotheslines out a still-dazed Titus...TITUS O'NEIL ELIMINATED...before nailing Michaels with another F5. Flair's managed to pull himself up, but Lesnar's sick of the games and dead-lifts him over the ropes.RIC FLAIR ELIMINATEDLesnar shoots another glance at Ryback, who's still on the outside, stretching and pacing back and forth. He picks up Michaels and throws him to the outside, but Michaels hangs on. He can't quite skin the cat, but he does manage to pull himself back through the ropes and crawl to a corner. Lesnar's distracted, though, because the next guy's coming in, and he's ready to go to the next level.

chris-masters.jpg#25: CHRIS MASTERS

The Masterpiece is fresh off the biggest year of his career. A title run and numerous big PPV matches, plus a bunch of vignettes of him ripping trees out of the ground, echoing Lesnar's infamous 2002 jogging with a log video. And he's not backing down from this challenge. He hits the ring, ducks a clothesline and FLOORS Lesnar with a Polish Hammer! And another! Lesnar dodges the third and lands a kick to the gut. He hoists Masters onto his shoulders and is about to pull the trigger... but it's reversed! MASTERLOCK! MASTERLOCK!

ADuk0k4.jpg

Lesnar's in trouble! But he manages to dig in a low blow, sending Masters rolling to the outside... where Ryback lays him out with a Meat Hook! JBL compliments him on his opportunism, while Cole runs down his integrity. Lawler just wants to know if anyone can stop Lesnar.

WM29_Photo_039.jpg#26: MARK HENRY

Well, that depends. He got a wig that needs splittin'? The World's Strongest Man doesn't stop for a second on his way to the ring, and gets straight into it with Lesnar, locking horns and pushing back and forth all over the ring. Eventually, Henry throws him down! Lesnar gets back up, and Henry sends him right back down with a clothesline! Heyman has his head in his hands at ringside. Henry picks Lesnar up and slams him in the corner. He climes the buckles for a Vader Bomb, but Heyman scoots up on the apron and begs him not to. While Henry's distracted, Ryback jumps up and pulls him over the ropes! Henry's gone!MARK HENRY ELIMINATEDRyback stands over Henry's carcass, laughing, but turns round STRAIGHT into a Polish Hammer from Masters! Henry gets back up, shaking with anger, grabs Ryback and sends him crashing through the announcers' table with the Worlds Strongest Slam! Fuck you, Michael Cole's iPad.Masters rolls back in and gets back into it with Lesnar. Lesnar's obviously a touch stronger, but Masters is all piss and vinegar, and he's giving the Beast Incarnate some trouble. They fight to a stalemate as we get ready for lucky number 27...

cena-entrance1-1024x575.jpg#27: JOHN CENA

Oh, that's big. The luckiest number in the Rumble, and last year's winner has grabbed it. As you'd expect, Cena doesn't hang about. He's straight in there, and it's body shots, shoulderblocks and protoplexes all over the place. He puts Lesnar down and goes for a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Heyman sweeps his legs. Cena reckons that's a bit cheeky, so he slides out and gives chase. Heyman slides back inside, and Cena falls for the oldest trick in the book. Lesnar lifts him up for the F5... but Cena counters! He's got Lesnar up for the AA! Lesnar manages to escape and grabs the arm for a Kimura, but Cena pulls off another counter with the drop toehold and locks in the STF! Oh, but we forgot about Ryback. He jumps Cena and beats him down on the mat. Cena fights back, and they roll around a bit. Lawler comments on the mass of humanity that's on that mat right now. Anyone would think he's been taking a peek at the running order...

big-show1.jpg#28: THE BIG SHOW

It all descends into chaos here. Everybody's brawling with everybody else. All four guys are trying to hit finishers, counters, and anything else they can. But hang on... we've forgotten someone. Shawn Michaels crawls from under the ring! Lawler's delighted that someone stole his trick, and we didn't even see him do it! Michaels levels Big Show with Sweet Chin Music, and Ryback eats one too! HBK stares down Cena and Lesnar, but the countdown's back on and this one's only gonna get bigger.

taker4.jpg#29: THE UNDERTAKER

The Phenom's back. As he steps into the ring, the electricity in the air is palpable. He faces Cena, and the Universe are going nuts. He turns to Michaels and they go even crazier. After a few more seconds of INTENSE EYE CONTACT, it all breaks down again and everyone's brawling. Masters comes within inches of having Lesnar back in the Masterlock, but gets thrown across the ring and clotheslined out.CHRIS MASTERS ELIMINATEDBig Show tries to take Cena out with a KO Punch, but Cena ducks and heaves the giant over the top with an AA!BIG SHOW ELIMINATEDAnd just like that, we're down to five, although Ryback's still down from the battering he's taken. But just look what's left in the ring. John Cena. Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker. Brock Lesnar. Four massive stars. Four bona-fide Wrestlemania main-eventers. Four men with the chance to headline the Granddaddy of 'em All. The WWE Universe are on their feet and blisteringly loud as these four titans size each other up and step forward. You'd have to cut this atmosphere with a chainsaw. It's all about to blow up! But... uh...

SD_720_Photo_081.jpg#30: FAAAAAAAN... DAAAAAAAAAAAN... GOOOOOOOOOO

Doo-DO! DO-do-DO-DOOOO-dadadoo-DO! The best possible draw for your first Rumble. Or so you might think. As the flamboyant superstar dances down the aisle with Summer Rae, the four men standing in the ring have stopped dead, scarcely able to believe this is happening. Fandango shimmies into the ring and dances between the former champions, the world-beaters, until he realises he's getting death-stares from every corner of the ring. He glances around... then spots Ryback on the ropes and pounces with a kick! Big hungry's over!RYBACK ELIMINATEDFandango notes that everyone's still staring holes on him, so he dances over to the ropes and tries to hop over. Nuh-uh. Undertaker goozles him, then drops him with a Tombstone. NOW you can fuck off.FANDANGO ELIMINATEDUndertaker's missed a step here though - he turns round and finds himself on Cena's shoulders, and a second later he's GONE!UNDERTAKER ELIMINATEDTaker looks up and sees this:

Cena turns round just in time to catch a superkick from Michaels, and lifts him up for another AA! Michaels drops down and shoves him off, but Lesnar lands a huge clothesline and HBK's comeback is cut short.SHAWN MICHAELS ELIMINATEDSo then...

Cole: "This is huge. This is absolutely huge. Either John Cena will be going to the main event of Wrestlemania for the second year in a row, or our big match, our marquee match that we've been advertising for months, will be blown apart right in front of our eyes."JBL: "I bet Mr McMahon's doin' that famous gulp somewhere right now!"Lesnar gives a sadistic little chuckle, Cena a little shrug. AND IT'S ON! They're finally right back where they left off at Extreme Rules 2012, throwing brutal punches and drawing real blood. They trade finisher attempts, shove each other towards the ropes, and just straight-up FIGHT. Lesnar looks like he's got control, but Cena pulls off one last counter and sends Lesnar flying over! But Heyman's still around! He throws himself underneath Lesnar and with all his flopsweatty strength, helps his Beast hang on. Cena's had enough of this shit. He grabs Heyman by the tie and yanks him up onto the apron. Lesnar charges from behind, but Cena dodges and Heyman goes flying! Lesnar turns, and is hoisted for the AA! It could be all over... but Lesnar rakes the eyes, drops down the back, grabs a waistlock and dead-lifts Cena from the centre of the ring, over the ropes and DOWN TO THE FLOOR!JOHN CENA ELIMINATEDHe's done it.

Cole closes out the show. "Brock Lesnar, who has already signed to face The Rock in the biggest Wrestlemania main event of all time, has won the Royal Rumble, and now has the right to face the champion of his choice at Wrestlemania. So... what now?"AFTERMATHWell, obviously, The Rock wins the WWE title in the Elimination Chamber. Natch. Cena and Undertaker get into it a bit more and set up a blockbuster co-main event. Punk mouths off about making himself a Wrestlemania moment seeing as nobody else will, and sets about calling out Austin, eventually going down to Broken Skull Ranch and smashing the place up. Of course, the next week, glass smashes and the dream match is ON.Elsewhere on a stacked Elimination Chamber, The Shield face off against the dream team of Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan in a Chamber War Games match, ending with Bryan scoring a massive underdog submission on Reigns. The Shield end up falling apart and turning on each other in the coming weeks, and Triple H and Michaels start getting in each other's faces a little bit in a competitive mates kind of way, before eventually going too far and actually fighting. Back at EC, Chris Masters wins a number one contender's War Games match for the right to face Ziggler.Vickie puts on a blockbuster on the go-home Raw, making Rock and Lesnar team up against Cena and Undertaker for the right to headline the show. Lesnar pins Undertaker after an AA and walkout from Cena.So after all that, we're left with the following for New Orleans:WRESTLEMANIA XXXWWE Championship - The Rock* vs Brock LesnarJohn Cena vs The UndertakerCM Punk vs Stone Cold Steve AustinTriple H vs Shawn MichaelsWorld Heavyweight Championship: Dolph Ziggler* vs Chris MastersDean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins vs Roman ReignsLaissez les bons temps rouler.

Cheers. I had to fiddle it a bit with Axel beating Masters the previous year instead of Lesnar, but it just made sense to me. Having Neville and Masters in there fit really nicely.

Right,

Eddie, Nexus,

Last chance to post an entry over the weekend or Harmonic and Chuck will get a choice: Either call their Royal Rumble scenario the final, or they can both go through to the actual final I had planned on a bye.

I'm determined to get this fucker finished.

Sorry man, I ended up going to Glastonbury and totally spaced on this.

It seems from his earlier post that Nexus isn't bothered about a Wargames entry so it seems silly me dragging this out longer just for another "bye". I'm happy to bow out at this stage and let the chaps who put the effort to post Rumble entries go forward.

Okey doke. Eddie, Nexus, thanks for getting back to me.

I don't have my laptop handy with the final stuff, but the scenario was along these lines.

Your task, should you choose to accept it, would be thus; the WWE has announced it is to close it's doors. Nobody really knows why, per say, you can leave it to your imagination. But basically, you have to book the company's very last show. You'd be judged on nods to history, the content of the final show and the actual sign off itself. The ernd, the climax, the grand finale, etc etc. As long as they're alive, you can have whoever you want on the last show asnd you have total creative control over it's content.

So you can either have that, or the Rumble as the decider. I'll try and get some juding together for the Rumble stuff over the weekend, post the final scenario/Rumble results on Monday, then you've got a week or so while I'm on my jollies to wrap everything up.

Cushty?
