So, this post-update is now a day late. That might happen more often for the rest of the season as these are busy times for me. I don't have time to make head nor tail of the new Photobucket. I received an e-mail last week saying I'd "opted out" of the redesign and asking me for feedback as to why. So I just logged in and uploaded the table as per usual and suddenly it was back in its old place, which sadly does mean you'll have to squint at it again. A word on turnout: it's been a given for a while that we've had a full house, but for some reason there were 3 absences this time out. Haraga is prone to the occasional lapse, while niff has earned herself a two-week holiday but does anyone know what happened to ultimo? Did he manage to get himself suspended too?!?

It was a low-scoring week by any standards, but coming off the back of a treble and a bumper round, the mostly single-digit scores look especially anaemic. Due to him being one of many joint lowest scorers with 3 points, stunstone's lead is cut slightly in this round despite ultimo's non-participation as TUFCfan and even Rory move above the previous nearest challenger. The D2D made Ratty the top scorer, but other than him only Nana and Two-Face made it into double figures. The gap at the wrong end remains at 18 points.

There's little point in going through games individually at this delayed juncture, so we'll just concentrate on the D2D. Nine months after Balotelli's one-man sabotage attempt looked like it'd cost City the title (despite the Gunners' apparent best efforts not to win on that occasion), the blue half of Manchester celebrate their first victory at Arsenal since the 70s. Aided by a moment of madness early on from Koscielny and almost marred by a late sending off of their captain which has since been rescinded, City at last recorded a win at the Emirates. James Milner became the first player of theirs to score there since DaMarcus Beasley, then Dzeko made up for an earlier penalty miss with the second goal. This all helped The Ratt move up to 6th place, but in points terms still well short of being in the title hunt.

At this point I'd normally say there'll be a new thread along soon, but since it's nearly Thursday, the latest card already went up this morning, so I hope you've all spotted it. And if you haven't made your picks in it yet, please do so soon! Thanks in advance.
