The final scores went into the original post on Sunday evening and the updated table followed in being put in its usual place sometime on Monday. The D2Ds are really beginning to distort things a bit too much as far as I'm concerned.

The next card is delayed because it involves the World Club Cup and we don't know the semi-final results yet. If people want to know the other 9 fixtures sooner, tell me and I'll start the new thread beforehand.

From there it doesn't get any less complicated as Tuesday is about the most awkward date for Christmas to fall on in terms of organising midweek things in the FPL. Then we have a bumper cup round before returning to normality on the weekend of 12th & 13th January. I think I've come up with the 'least worst' options, but still, any feedback on how to handle all this is welcome. The proper write-up for this week can wait, sorry.

OK, now that we do know the results, let's just get on with this at last. The reigning champion got his D2D right thanks to a second-half comeback for his beloved Reds at Upton Park. Liverpool wins used to be less surprising, but this one caught out everyone bar Rory so stunstone got a whopping 42 bonus points and went 14 clear at the top, giving him a fighting chance of holding onto his title. Three people were the next highest scorers on a paltry 7 points each, while three other participants could only manage a solitary point. Lawz closed the gap at the wrong end to 11.

Nobody got the exact score from either of the German games as the home victories were seen as being a little against the form book. Closer to home, most thought Ian Holloway would see off his old side at Selhurst Park but the draw did prove useful for a handful of players, while Wolves' triumph over Brum was a more popular result. Elsewhere Villa-Stoke should've had stalemate written all over it, but many went for a score draw, and understandably nobody got the exact score from the seven-goal thriller at the Liberty Stadium.

As Seph pointed out, he was one of only two people to take three points from the Manchester derby. Correct guesses for the draw at Wigan and narrow defeat for Reading at St Mary's were similarly rare.
