SteelEdge
Is this official matches or does it include run-ins and backstage segments as well?
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 I'd imagine matches as Big John is only listed once for his Cena match. Â That must have took a fair amount of time. Nice to see statistics like that though.
Evo2012
Aye, it's matches only, and multiple matches count as one single appearance!
NEWM
I love shit like this, thanks for compiling. You should try and keep this updated going forward, would be a helpful reference guide.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 Where is it starting from? I ask because Mr. T has two PPV matches on your list, but WrestleMania I wasn't on PPV (from what I understand). The first PPV was The Wrestling Classic from late 85. Or is it just a case of counting WrestleMania I for convenience sake? Or is it a case of it being on closed circuit TV, so it counts as a paid event? Or am I just over thinking things that don't actually matter?
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 Possibly overthinking. Impressive list though. Do Edge & Christian playing the Conquistadors count as E&C? Do Doink appearences played by none Matt Borne guys get seperated. See I'm overthinking it now too.
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 Surprised to see Chavo Guerrero, Jr has just as many PPV appearances as Hulk Hogan.
PSF
Shelton benjemin more than regal! That's just wrong! Â Quick question, does Jericho still hold the record for most consequtive ppv appearences? Didn't he overtake Hercules?

Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 I genuinely surprised how beet hart has more than hogan I'm going to guess since Kane's listed from 1995, we're including past gimmicks (i.e. Isaac Yankem)? Evo2012
You should try and keep this updated going forward, would be a helpful reference guide. Â That's the plan! Â Where is it starting from? I ask because Mr. T has two PPV matches on your list, but WrestleMania I wasn't on PPV (from what I understand). The first PPV was The Wrestling Classic from late 85. Or is it just a case of counting WrestleMania I for convenience sake? Or is it a case of it being on closed circuit TV, so it counts as a paid event? Or am I just over thinking things that don't actually matter? Â I heard it was 'available in some markets, so I just went with it. Â Possibly overthinking. Impressive list though. Do Edge & Christian playing the Conquistadors count as E&C? Do Doink appearences played by none Matt Borne guys get seperated. See I'm overthinking it now too. Â Yes, Edge and Christian got credited for that one. I tried the best I could with Doink (he was a nightmare). I've got two seperate Doink tallys to try and be specific! Â I genuinely surprised how beet hart has more than hogan I'm going to guess since Kane's listed from 1995, we're including past gimmicks (i.e. Isaac Yankem)? Â I bundled all gimmicks under one name in those types of cases for aesthetics if nothing else.
Paid Members niff Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 That's fantastic, it feels like William Regal should have more. Just goes to show how well CM Punk has done since he joined WWE with appearing in so many in such a short space of time.
