wcw vs the world

I remember the Giant Baba character (Samoa?) having his own awesome music for his matches, and being near enough unbeatable with his big boot of doom!

I liked this game, seemed quite strategic in that as much of your success came down to duckin and moving and repositioning as it did from the moves you hit.

Yeah, it was superb at the time. The engine was great and formed the basis of the excellent WcW Revenge and WWF No Mercy games on the N64.

The WcW roster seems a little strange looking back considering who is missing - Savage, Outsiders, DDP - and a minor quibble is that are no animations for Malenko's Texas Cloverleaf, the Regal Stretch or the Crippler Crossface.

The real strength is the roster that has lots of indy guys, Puro guys and legends under different names.

Regarding the OP, I think the WCW wrestlers on there are : Flair, Hogan, Sting, The Steiners, Regal, Benoit, Guerrero and Luger from the top of my head, possibly Malenko and Jarrett too. If you press Select and Start or something like that on Hogan or Sting you get their old school costumes.
