Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted January 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 28, 2011 "A few weeks back there were rumors that Booker T was in discussions with WWE about a possible return. To add fuel to that fire is the news that Booker T has canceled his scheduled appearances this weekend at the New Orleans Comic Con. Let the speculation begin
Paid Members Ron Simmons Posted January 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 28, 2011 It'd be fun to see Booker T return in the Rumble, but I don't think either brand really needs him on a fulltime basis. I don't think there are any Booker-WWE feuds I'd like to see right now. Un
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 28, 2011 I hate to bring bad news to a fellow WCW Saturday Night fan, but TNA are taping the February 3rd Impact on Monday, so he might have cancelled Comic Con do tape that. Sorry, bud. Â Who's side is he on?!
Moderators PowerButchi Posted January 28, 2011 Moderators Posted January 28, 2011 The wrong side of gainful employment hopefully. He really did my tits in during his TNA run.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted January 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 28, 2011 I didn't watch TNA when he was there, thus missing the entire M.E.M. Was Booker's run than bad? I read that he pissed about a bit and didn't take things seriously. Is this true?
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted January 28, 2011 He was shite in TNA. Apart from one appearance as Black Snow, there wasnt much good about his run. He just put on daft accents and never seemed to care about being there.
The Miz Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 If Booker does return, maybe he will be the one to fued with "King" Sheamus, rather than HHH.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted January 28, 2011 Moderators Posted January 28, 2011 He seemed to really take a lot of steam out of Bobby Roode's upward mobility during their feud as well. Not as much as Rikishi and that fucking retarded "jobber" comment, but a fair bit. He wouldn't put Matt Morgan over either. Scott Steiner's back must have been killing him having to carry Booker T like he did in their Tag Team.
Paul Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I can't stand Booker T, who I think is one of the most overrated wrestlers in the industry. Neither TNA nor WWE would benefit from his return.
ThePhenom Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Wasn't he supposed to be in the Royal Rumble last year? It never happened, and I'd doubt it will happen this year either. Besides, Booker T is best friends with Rob Van Dam, him and Jeremy Borash were talking about him on Youtube video of them on a train in France the other day. Perhaps it was some sort of hint to his TNA return?
The Dart Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I hate to bring bad news to a fellow WCW Saturday Night fan, but TNA are taping the February 3rd Impact on Monday, so he might have cancelled Comic Con do tape that. Sorry, bud. Â Does he not have the ability to do two things in a 4 day period? Or are you saying TNA wouldn't let him do some comic convention?

Or are you saying TNA wouldn't let him do some comic convention? He said it was on the weekend, if the Comic Cons on Sunday, he might need to be at TV the day after, since TNA tape the shows during the day. He's supposedly on the way back to TNA, anyway.
digforvictory Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Booker was complete shit in TNA. He was just completely and utterly phoning it in from pretty much the start. I've seen plenty of wrestlers lose interest a few months into a run but it's rare to see someone who looked like they couldn't be arsed from their debut onwards. Â Having said that him being a one night suprise entrant in the Royal Rumble would be good. He'd get a biggish suprise pop would be able to do the spinarooni and then get chucked out. Everyone's a winner.
