The Cum Doctor Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I still think if a worst is good for one thing, it should be good for all, including British and MMA.
FUM Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Isn't Best Individual Performance just going to be a toss up between Best Wrestler, Best Babyface and Best Heel?
Paid Members Jaffa Posted November 1, 2010 Paid Members Posted November 1, 2010 Isn't Best Individual Performance just going to be a toss up between Best Wrestler, Best Babyface and Best Heel? Best Individual Performance was my idea last year. The theory was you nominate someone based purely on one skit/match/interview. If someone carried another wrestler to a great match: nominate him etc. Chris Masters was top 3 based on one skit. Â Having said that, we have too many catagories. Perhaps this one should be cut.

I tend to agree that there are too many categories, and would be in favour of dropping 'Greatest Moment', 'Best Individual performance' and 'Biggest Anti-Climax' from the list.
PSF Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I would like to add a catergory for the "Most Underutilised Wrestler"
King Pitcos Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I think "best individual performance" should go, because "greatest moment" covers the same ground (and a bit more besides), really. Â I also think the British categories should be kept separate from the proper wrestling categories, so we don't have posters from here voted as worst wrestler of the year. It should be proper wrestlers that we've all heard of.
AJS269 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Proper wrestlers? F**k off. If you don't follow British wrestling thats fine. But I think it is disrespectful to say that anyone who wrestles in the British Industry isn't a proper wrestler.

I agree with this, greatest moment needs to be kept. Â Â I also think the British categories should be kept separate from the proper wrestling categories, so we don't have posters from here voted as worst wrestler of the year. It should be proper wrestlers that we've all heard of. This however it bullshit and a very disrespectful cunty thing to say, I can only assume you've said it to get a reaction. Congratulations.

Even more disrespectful is when Surf Graffiti wins the catagory.
King Pitcos Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Even more disrespectful is when Surf Graffiti wins the catagory. That's why it should be in a separate category. If there was a forum for a football Sunday league and they were doing a year-end poll, surely there'd be separate awards for worst player off the telly and worst player in their league.
The Cum Doctor Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I actually see where you're coming from. Â One thing to do with the UK ones is to have reasons for nominations, like say where they seen a guy and stuff. That should at least ensure people aren't just nominating Ronin or Surf Grafitti when they didn't even watch them.
Whiskey_Jim Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I would like to add a catergory for the "Most Underutilised Wrestler" as long as it does not include anyone currently on WWE television. not one worker on WWE TV can be considered under utilized.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted December 16, 2010 Author Paid Members Posted December 16, 2010 So I'm gonna start the wrestling awards soon. Any more thoughts on this?
