The videos that were posted (the wrestling ones, not the porn - http://www.youtube.com/benjaminho1988) were shot by me, and she did indeed use her porn name for that show. she also did some sort of dominatrix gimmick where she led a guy around on a chain. Having said that, there were young kids at this show and she played to them well enough, so i dont think she'd have any problems on a family show

she was a bit green looking, but its one of those things - do you judge them on how many submission holds they know, or how over they are with the crowd? its all subjective really isnt it?

oh, and for the guy that said she hadnt done hardcore porn, it appears she has

Pro-Wrestling: EVE Launching Monthly Wrestling School & Live Shows in London

Pro-Wrestling: EVE has announced a major new deal which will see the company launch its own monthly wrestling school in London, as well as hold monthly live events.

The official announcement was made moments ago on the BBC London 9.49 FM radio station, however, Diva Dirt spoke to promoter Dann Read earlier today for more exclusive news on the deal.

EVE will be holding the monthly wrestling school, and monthly live events, in conjunction with the British Wrestling Council. The bell will ring for the Pro-Wrestling: EVE Academy on Sunday, February 19th, and will continue on a regular schedule of one Sunday per month. The wrestling school will take place during the day, with a live show in the early evening. The school is located at Performance Space in Hackney Wick, East London.

As a result of the deal, EVE will be running far more regularly as opposed to two tapings per year, as has been the norm, making EVE one of the most regular female promotions alongside Ice Ribbon in Japan, WSU in the US, and other promotions.

The shows will be separate from the main EVE tapings, going under the name Project Eden, and will feature a mix of the EVE Academy trainees and current EVE stars such as champion Jenny Sjodin. The Project Eden shows will be taped for a potential new DVD series, I

That is great news Dann, but how come you haven't commented on the criticism about you claiming you run a family friendly promotion, but are booking an active porn star.

If I had kids and was taking them to your show, whether the wrestler uses a different name for her adultwork or not, I would not take them to your show.

As I don't have kids, this doesn't bother me, but I know it would if the situation was different.

Your refusual to comment so far has disappointed me and is disrespectful to other fans who also commented on the situation.

For the record, I *do* have children. I don't know much about Pro Wrestling EVE and the kinds of shows that are run but if they were truly family friendly shows and stuck to that mantra, then I would not care if one or all the performers were current or former porn actors or actresses.

My kids would be none the wiser, it would not affect them one way or the other, and therefore I would be fine taking them to said show. That said, purely as someone who is interested in the British adult entertainment scene, I am eager to hear Dann's opinion or take on this. A bit of a wall of silence does seem to be drawing down on that side of Holly's career from the looks of things.

Gladstone seems to have hit the nail on the head for me.

I dont see why you wouldn't take your kids to the show [aside from all the debates about whether kids should go and see 'simulated violence' at all - but that's for another time]. If your kids dont know what she gets up to when she's not in a wrestling ring then I dont see why it should make one bit of difference.

It seems people are unfairly hauling Holly and Dann over the coals with a 'think of the poor children' approach and, much like most of these things, the ones doing the complaining and taking a high moral stance are the ones who dont actually have kids in the first place.

ok, just seen this thread and this is all I am going to say on the subject:

Yes, I previously worked in the adult film industry under the name Holly Dee. I havnt been active in that industry since January when I began my wrestling training. Any content that has been released since then was shot previous to January (as you can tell from the difference in my physique). And yes, the name change to Rocamora was to seperate my wrestling career from my adult film career.

I worked as a adult model for 3 years and it was due to working as a model that I first started going to the gym in order to stay in shape for modelling. I then found that I had good genetics for building muscle and got more and more interested in health and fitness. I have always been a huge wrestling fan and watched it on a regular basis since I was a young kid but it wasnt until then that I felt like becoming a wrestler was actually something I could do.

When I do something, I fully throw myself into it, so I decided to leave my work in the adult film industry as I felt I had already acheived everything I set out to do within that industry and commit full time to my wrestling training. Since then, I have been wrestling training 2/3 times a week aswell as weight training in the gym 5/6 days a week, yoga to maintain my flexibility 2/3 times a week and cardio training every day. I am fully 100% commited to achieving my ambitions within the wrestling industry.

And as for children and family shows, yes I have worked in the adult film industry but that doesnt make me some kind of sex offender. I have done nothing wrong or illegal and I know how to conduct myself around children! I take bookings as a professional wrestler and thats exactly how I act, professional. There is no cross over between my wrestling career and my previous work in the adult film industry.

Like I've said previously in this thread, I know little about this promotion and I was posting more here in the capacity of someone who knew some of your adult work. I think it's refreshing to see someone from the adult industry that has moved on to a more mainstream profession not turning in some massive anti-porn rant and completely discounting his/her previous work. Good on you for being open and admitting it and not being ashamed of it.

I do hope you don't get any shit for moving into wrestling, especially as you have chosen to work in the family arena, because as you point out you've done absolutely nothing wrong or illegal. Best of luck with it all.

Okay, you get your wish, I'll bite - clever you.

Firstly - Holly isn't the first person to work in the adult industry to cross over into British wrestling with Stefan Hard working shows for LDN, Dropkixx and many other shows while still working in the adult movie industry. And yes the promoters knew. Didn't seem to effect them....

Anyone who has a problem with the industry that Holly has worked in - that's their *moral* choice. I'm not going to attack you for thinking that way even though my personal stance on it is anyone who DO decide to judge Holly or any individual for that matter is an ignorant, superficial, judgemental, parasite of a human being that in my eyes is no different to someone who judges an individual by the colour of their skin and is contributing towards the social suffocation of every single decent living organism in the universe today that is trying to actually do something positive with their existence. But hey, that's my view and your view and some others may be different.

If I was to tell you if there is such an individual as God that I believe he is truly the biggest cunt to ever "exist" - would you like to judge me on it? Go ahead - who's to say you can't? If I was to tell you I still to this day struggle to comprehend people who honestly believe JFK was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald and that he was acting alone - would you like to believe that it has some impact on the audience of the wrestling shows I've promoted since 2002? If I was to tell you I've found *most* (not all) Christians to be some of the most selfish and hypocritical people that I've ever encountered......Does it effect who's arm is raised at the end of wrestling match and the moral mindset of the fans who've just watched said match?

The point of the above is - we all have different views and I don't need to comment on the fact that I personally disagree with yours because honestly, what's the point - it doesn't have any effect on any wrestling show I promote or am a part of. How will it effect the councils and venues EVE goes too - it shouldn't and if it does we'll take appropriate action against them but now days I only use venues where I personally know the owner / manager or am in places where I have a relationship with the council. In the case of Sudbury where the main EVE shows are filmed both those boxes are ticked. For the most part you're just trolling here anyway because as you've said in a DM to me you don't support EVE, you're not one of our customers so why is it YOU have the biggest problem with this out of everyone and are talking as though this has any relevance to you? Me commenting on a forum won't change anything. You can go on about 'what will the people think?' but truthfully if there's any Mums or Dads in the audience that recognise they're hardly going to tell their 8 year old child 'Hey, you know that video you walked in on your Mum and Dad getting off too - that was of her that was!" and to be honest they'll probably be even more starstruck by her! And you know what if they DO have a problem with her then that's THEIR moral issue and it will not change my view on using Holly as a wrestler just like if I promoted male shows and I believed Stefan Hard or Kris 'Supposed Naked Butler' Travis would add to the show then I'd book them too. Why aren't you trolling any other thread of a promotion she's wrestling for? You're using Holly here because for some reason you have an issue with me / EVE and you're just looking for any reason to criticise and attack.

Of course, you're more than welcome to picket the shows to air your views.
