Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted November 27, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 27, 2011 I didn't, actually, just read that on BBC Sport. Cracking player on his day, good to hear he's okay.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 2, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Amazing stuff in the ongoing ODI between India and West Indies. Roach and Rampaul have just put on 99 unbeaten for the final wicket, and Rampaul has scored a world record 86 not out for a number 10 in an ODI. He hit 6 sixes as well, including one off the final ball of the innings. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 2, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 2, 2011 There are signs that the Windies are pulling themselves together a bit, which can only be good. They have realised that the days of four fast bowlers terrorising batsmen across the world are long gone, and so they've got two or three great young spinners knocking around to add some variety. Some good young batsmen as well. Hopefully they will start to pull it round now.

I went to the first T20 at the Oval a few months back against them, we won comfortably but you could see some potential in some of those younger guys  Haven't seen any Rampaul's knock, but that's amazing.  On another note, I was up stupidly early this morning and had the Aus v NZ test on. Ponting was looking very good again after his place in that side is under loads of pressure.
Max Power
Anyone watching India Windies now? Sehwag could get 250 here. Unreal.

C/WMark Please!
Sehwag destroyed the West Indies big time. 25 Fours and 7 Sixes. Insane knock from a great player.
Benoit's missing tooth
Thought seeing some are waiting on PowerSlam's Top 50 of the year that the cricket fan's might like All Out Cricket Magazines version of it - Â 01, Dale Steyn (South Africa) 02, Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) 03, Jacques Kallis (South Africa) 04, James Anderson (England) 05, Jonathan Trott (England) 06, Sachin Tendulkar (India) 07, AB DeVilliers (South Africa) 08, Alastair Cook (England) 09, Shane Watson (Australia) 10, MS Dhoni (India) 11, Graeme Swann (England) 12, Stuart Broad (England) 13, Morne Morkel (South Africa) 14, Hashim Amla (South Africa) 15, Kevin Pietersen (England) 16, Virender Sehwag (India) 17, Ian Bell (England) 18, Mike Hussey (Australia) 19, Matt Prior (England) 20, Rahul Dravid (India) 21, Mahela Jayawardene (Sri Lanka) 22, Gautam Gambhir (India) 23, Michael Clarke (Australia) 24, Zaheer Khan (India) 25, Graeme Smith (South Africa) 26, Eoin Morgan (England) 27, Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) 28, Saeed Ajmal (Pakistan) 29, Ross Taylor (New Zealand) 30, Ricky Pointing (Australia) 31, Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka) 32, Andrew Strauss (England) 33, Daniel Vettori (New Zealand) 34, Tim Bresnan (England) 35, Tillakarante Dilshan (Sri Lanka) 36, Shivnarine Chanderpaul (West Indies) 37, Mitchell Johnson (Australia) 38, Chris Gayle (West Indies) 39, Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka) 40, Virat Kohli (India) 41, Steve Finn (England) 42, VVS Laxman (India) 43, Umar Gul (Pakistan) 44, Misbah-Ul-Haq (Pakistan) 45, Brendon McCullum (New Zealand) 46, Yuvraj Singh (India) 47, Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh) 48, Fidel Edwards (West Indies) 49, Suresh Raina (India) 50, Ryan Ten Doeschate (Netherlands) Â Thoughts? I can only assume they have used some kind of PS criteria including on the mic to place Sangakkara at number 2 possibly for his pipe-bomb at the MCC Spirit Of Cricket lecture during the Summer, I suppose you could nit-pick some of the lesser numbers and I would probably have put Kallis slightly lower down the list as well but it doesn't read to bad. Brock Goldberg
K.P. at 15 doesn't look right either. He's not produced that much in 2011.
The Curious Orange
He's still hit a couple of double hundreds and a 175 since the last list though. Just not really stood out as much thanks to the form of Cook, Trott and Bell Edited December 11, 2011 by iamstockmonkey
vanhalen2007
This fella has over 1000 cricket videos on his youtube account, some really amazing rare footage as well  http://www.youtube.com/user/robelinda2?feature=watch Edited December 11, 2011 by vanhalen2007
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 11, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 11, 2011 He's got another channel under just 'robelinda' as well. He's brilliant, been watching his stuff for months. Â As for that list, it's alright but what criteria is it judged on? Just tests? All international cricket? Domestic stuff as well? Paid Members gadge Posted December 13, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 13, 2011 Did anyone watch the New Zealand victory in the second test vs Australia? Their first Test win against them since 1993 and first win on Australian soil for 26 years..
