Have you ever met anyone famous?

Recommended Posts

I've met the Kings of Leon at their aftershow part at the Blackpool Empress Ballroom a couple of years ago! All were top guys! Almost got floored by Calebs bouncer at the start for walking up to him as he entered the room. Was cool after that though. Not many can say they've took a piss next to Jared Fallowhill whilst talking about how skanky Blackpool is! My mate asked Caleb if he had shagged Kate Moss. The look on his face was classic! They did a little acoustic thing afterwards but most of us got lobbed out at that point.

Sharon Osbourne was very nice, had no issues with talking to people. Met her just before an FWA show, she was filming something for the first series of X-Factor quite near the venue, and I happened to walk past.

Victoria Silvstedt is gorgeous in the flesh, lovely person as well.

Can't really remember what Tiffany Chapman (Brookside) or Jenny Powell were like, I was just resisting the urge to cum in my pants.

Mark Bannerman (Time Gentlemen Please) was a quality bloke, and gave me a bottle of water.

From wrestling, I think unnerved Scotty 2 Hotty slightly by making a rude joke about something that was happening at a show. Nice fella though. William Regal, Rhyno, Roddy Piper and Rey Mysterio were all fantastic guys, Chris Benoit too. Can't say I think highly of him now, but then he gave me a whole bunch of posters and the like that he signed, would never have guessed what he'd get up to later.

Terrorvision, Feeder, Raven, Gary Pallister, Matt Wilkinson, Tracy Smothers, Steve Pears, Alan Miller, Roderick Strong, some NOAH guys, Christian (jobber), Andy Kluz, some bloke who moved to Las Vegas to be a pro gambler then came back to England and became a scriptwriter on Hollyoaks, probably some others. Most aren't really 'famous' to any significant degree except maybe Gary Pallister and possibly Andy Kluz who's a sort of face-you-know-but-name-you-don't sort of bloke who does regional news, so if you're in the North East you probably see him on telly five nights a week. I met him at a Guisborough Town football game he was filming. Probably some others I've forgotten.

They were all pretty nice though Terrorvision seemed a bit disinterested until I engaged them a bit, Gary Pallister is sound as a pound, Steve Pears cracked a joke about my Ladbrokes pen (I was about 10 at the time) and Tracy Smothers is absolutely just the best. Christian...well, fuck Christian. Raven was miserable but I expected that. Ricky Marvin was a good laugh.

Fearne Cotton - stuck up fucking bitch who wouldn't make eye contact with anyone except her friend even though she knew people were recognising her, this was in a shop

I don't actually like Fearne Cotton but you think she's a stuck up fucking bitch because she didn't want to be bothered on a shopping trip with her friends? Cut the slag a break, eh? I mean, if she's doing a signing or somethign then alright but from the sounds of what you've written there, she was getting hassled by a few people while trying to go about her day.

Its more than that, just the way she carried herself was very annoying, it's hard to descrbe but she was walking around talking really loud with her friend so she could be heard, mentioning bullshit like vip parties and free stuff from other shops and just had her nose in the air, it was obvius by the way she carried herself she was so far up her own ass she could hang of her tonsils!

We went to see The Chuckle Brothers for a laugh a few years ago, and before the interval they ran around the audience with custard pies (or shaving foam on paper plates). The taller/fatter/less shrivelled Chuckle came up to me and said "you're a bit old to be here, aren't you?" to which I replied "so are you", and he promptly smashed the plate of foam into my face as hard as he could. It was bad though, I went to the toilets to clean it off and there was a massive queue of kids all crying their eyes out because they'd been pied by their heroes. What cunts those Chuckle Brothers are.

That is fantastic

That made me laugh out loud!

Off the top of my head...

Russell Brand - funny, charming, cheeky

Laurence Llewelyn Bowen - lovely fella

Marcus Brigstocke - Words fail me other than I LOVE THIS MAN!

Ginger (Wildhearts) - possibly on something but still very kind and soft spoken

Niall Quinn - Another lovely fella

That's all I can really remember right now.

Not too many sadly for me..but then I dont tend to recognise loads of folk.

Drank with the Kaiser Chiefs for nearly an hour before there gig at Leeds which I am a manager at. Their passes said "Hooks for Hands" so I thought it was another band I never heard of until they went on stage.

Walked past loads of folk behind Glastonbury main stage, im sure thoose getting off the coaches were band members lol.

Pete Firman before I knew who he was when the BBC filmed the piolt show of Steak Out which I wrestled at, nice enough guy...still has funny hair tho

When working on stage I've met and said more than two words to

McDonald Brothers...one is a wank

The lassie who sang "Perfect"...she was laid back and realisitic which was nice, thats why I don't tend to talk to the bands.

Michelle McManus, like above, really nice lass and her Dad was cool as well....although she did regonise me from two weeks before in Kushion when the girls I was with were all making a fuss of her and when she went to introduce herself to me interupting my conversation I told her to beat it and she wasnt even famous.

Yeah I can just be as big of a prick as them, lol

Met loads of DJs as well, from Tiesto working his gig to smaller guys like DJ Rankin, G-Force and Mocca Lee

Wrestling wise just Raven who was funny, Tracey Smoothers who is mental and Rene Dupree who I managed to piss his huge ego off

I'll probably remember more soon.

Hard to explain why. He was just really loud and annoying and only talked about himself and the things he had done recently, this was during a social occasion like where the fact he was famous had no bearing on what was happening, but he managed to turn it into him him him!

Just a few more i remembered

Noel Fielding- met him in the most random, shit club ever. Pretty sure he was off his face on something, but was a really nice guy, he hugged a lot lol.

Super Hans- Again in a club, it was like Jesus had walked in the way people swamped round him. Can't say I really 'met' him, but I drunkenly said 'love your work' to him in a toilet, and he said 'thanks' and smiled, so he's alright in my book!

Lewis Hamilton- In Empire Casino Lester Square 2 and a bit years ago, was at the bar with my mates and there was a group of friends next to us. Anyway, it was Lewis Hamilton. I had heard bad things about him, so we didn't bother him, but when I went to the bar and he was there I wished him good luck for the season, and he said thanks and got me a drink. Nice bloke at the end of the day.
