  1.

There was at least a year's sensible momentum off the back of it.

Ending the streak was the single biggest outcome of a match WWE could possibly do. Getting a little bit of "sensible momentum" (that I'd say barely made it to Summerslam, let alone last a year), out of a result of that magnitude isn't an accomplishment. It just proves JR and Michaels' point even more.

Completely disagree. Brock Lesnar is the single biggest attraction in wrestling and the most believable character around these days because of it. He still has the momentum going from it.

  2. I liked how Cena turned 80% of the crowd back on his side during his promo before his match.

I wonder if Cena really does want to be loved like Rock/Austin is.

Cena is loved. The chants are all just a fun thing to do rather than people actually meaning them these days.

  3. Sheamus could not possibly beat anyone in 2 seconds when he needs a 3 count at the least.

A good RAW right enough. Shame Mizdow is back to being shite though. Seth Rollins is great and Orton is on top form at the moment although thought it'd have been great to see after every single match.

  4. Yeah, The Authority can do the promo work while Cesaro stands in the background, of course, but we saw with Heyman that such a thing may not help him at all.

That's because Paul Heyman did absolutely fuck all to get heat on Cesaro or get him over. He spent his full time as Cesaro's manager talking about Brock Lesnar beating The Undertaker.

  5. You've got to look at who she shows arse for though. Vickie Guerrero on her way out the door, Ronda "not even in the company" Rousey, and Brie Bella.

Very few, if any of the actual regular performers she constantly buries on the mic, publicly humiliates or outright attacks ever get a comeback, that's why it was a momentous occasion when Sting didn't let her slap him. She's a fantastic bitch, but she does more harm to the product than good. HHH showed more arse for Rousey that she did.

Pretty sure she did it for Roman Reigns as well.

I've been thinking to myself, how would that have ended for those in attendance? Most likely with Lesnar snatching away the belt and walking off while Reigns celebrates losing the tug of war. If they didn't get physical on TV then there's no way they would've done it dark right?

Also, apparently the Smackdown tapings happened straight afterwards but weren't advertised. Half of the crowd left unaware.

How did it end on TV? I haven't watched it back yet. The belt fell on the floor, Brock picked it up and left, his music started playing and Reigns stood in the ring for a bit. That was it.

Re: Smackdown, they mentioned it before Raw and at least once during one of the breaks, then as soon as Raw went off the air they announced it, and then changed to the smackdown livery and started taping again in about 2 minutes. That's not to say there weren't a lot of people that left after raw anyway.

Ended with the two of them pulling at it and staring at each other, it was awful. It was even worse that this was a go-home angle for WrestleMania.

  7. Read all over the internet that Seth Rollins pinning Roman Reigns was his first pinfall loss on WWE TV. I've just watched Cody Rhodes pin him in a match on RAW after Big Show knocked him out, were they saying that was his first SINGLES pinfall loss?

I've typed this now and realised it would be better served in the questions thread but I'm sure it was discussed in one of these threads so what the hell.

  8. There's only 3 weeks to go and the main event of WrestleMania seems to be getting minimal attention. Reigns is a complete sideshow to the Orton/Rollins feud at the moment.

It's the first year I remember in a while where the 'Road to WrestleMania' booking hasn't picked up and been must watch TV.
