I aint watched raw yet but what was the reaction of the live crowd when they showed the ad?

 

They went mental when the orchestra turned round with the masks on and when Sting's face was shown. Then booed like fuck when the WWE 2K14 logo came up.

It must have been a massive disappointment to see the logo come up if you were live in the arena. Luckily, I'd already read about it being an advert or I'd probably have been gutted as well.

I think that the reason that Reigns is still rocking the Shield outfit and theme tune is because they are just holding off his repackaging for an appropriate big match or moment. He's definitely being primed for a run as a main event babyface. I can't wait for the moment he appears with a new, appropriately epic theme tune and ring gear.

Agree with this. Similar to Batista, who didn't change to brighter ring gear or change his theme until he won the title at WrestleMania if I remember rightly.

That then and now thing shows how much of superstar Christian looks outside the ring, then as soon as he has his gear on he looks fucking shit. Get that guy backstage talking in his own clothes again.

That's what makes her release even more baffling, as it was total misunderstanding that was just unfortunate. It's highly unlikely she deliberately went out of her way to rob a $20 iPod case.

She was a bit of a flop on the main roster so they have probably seen it as an excuse to get rid of her.

Never realised how big a star The Rock actually is outside of wrestling, in the last 12 hours I've seen him mentioned on Football365 and Robert Evans' second autobiography (which admittedly wasn't published in the last 12 hours)

Yeah but it's hardly the same thing. Taker vs Lesnar is a great match up on paper and in the ring, regardless of the foregone conclusion of the streak. Cesaro vs Lesnar? Nope. Not having it. It would be ridiculous. Straight after WM30, maybe, but after seeing Cesaro come up short against the likes of Sheamus and co, its madness that he'd go up against Lesnar.

They have a month and a half to build him before the build up to SummerSlam.

The ring gear looks dreadful there, it might look better on TV, hopefully it does. Have big hopes for Seth Rollins and the beginning of his singles run doesn't look great - basing that judgement wholly on his entrance theme.

The siren from Cesaro's rotten entrance theme makes me think Little Mix are about to come out.

Fucking hell RAW was ages ago and there hasn't been one post, sums WWE up at the moment to be honest.

Joe Coffey was definitely there with some face paint and a tie round his head, think Mark Coffey was in the penguin suit.

Thought it was a cracking little show, really enjoyed watching it. I'm guessing there was a massive CM Punk chant while Stephanie was out talking about potential champions - the "you suck" sounded dubbed?

Think he wrestled for ICW quite recently as well.

I can't see it happening. I know ESPN is a massive deal but Renee is quite clearly a huge wrestling fan. She brings a genuine enthusiasm that I never sensed from the likes of Coach and Grisham.

You get footballers who are massive fans of their club - they'll still leave if they're offered the chance to go to a bigger club in a better league for more money. I'd be surprised if any wrestling announcer in the US ever knocked back a chance to work for ESPN or any of the other large sports networks.

So as well as American Netflix, I've discovered having Unblock-US and/or HOLA unblocker installed allows you watch almost all of the American TV Network's own catchup services with only some minor limitations.

Day after they air, the likes of Big Bang Theory, CSI, Criminal Minds, 2 and a Half Men etc

 

NBC

 

Day after they air, likes of Parks & Rec, Community, Hannibal, SVU and Saturday Night Live

 

Slightly more limited is FOX which make you wait an extra week if you don't have an American Cable subscription, but 8 days is still quicker than BBC3/Sky for Family Guy, American Dad, Simpsons, Bobs Burgers, New Girl, American Idol etc. ABC are in the same 8-day wait boat, their content being the likes of The Middle, Revenge, Scandal etc.

 

All of the above are open to the general public and work without login or an American TV subscription. The only major networks behind the times, that require you to have a Cable subscription, appear to be SYFY and FX (Always Sunny, The League, Archer) but there's other ways to view archives of those shows and I'm hoping that changes at some point (hopefully before new Always Sunny season for me).

Completely stunned, I know its cliche but he looked in good health at HOF and Raw. RIP Warrior, gone but will never be forgotten.

He looked healthy at HOF but on RAW he turned a bit reddish and was breathing heavily. True legend, and glad he got his moment before he left the world. RIP.

Sting isn't showing up anytime soon according to melter. The deals done but it could be as late as the road to mania 31 until sting shows up.

I don't know why people can't see where Sting fits in without Undertaker. There are plenty of matches I'd love to see Sting in. Yes, Undertaker was the dream match but we've never seen Sting vs The Rock for instance, and I don't know why but after his streak victory, I just see Brock Lesnar as this absolute mega star who I'd love to see face any legend at all so he'd be a great opponent as well.

You know a RAW's good when you don't fast forward anything but the adverts. A great show and I didn't expect to see Adam Rose so soon which made it even better.

So has Albert chucked wrestling to hang about with Alex Riley more often?
