I agree that it was the wrong move to post that tweet this morning. While I agree with his reasons, he has already let a lot of people who have booked down once. To knowingly let them down again is a dick move.

There is always one. Messi could demand what the fuck he wanted from Barca and they would eventually cave. Michael Jordan could have demanded what he wanted and got it. Snooker has caved to Ronnie O'Sullivan on countless things.

 

McGregor is to MMA what all these guys are or were to their sports. They have the choice, lose mainstream coverage they've worked 25 or whatever years to get or give one guy what he wants and he will take your sport to the mainstream. There's no reason to cave to others, they're not McGregor.

Quite simply put, it sets no precedent as no-one else has the pull. This isn't your average everyday fighter, that would set a dangerous precedent.

Dana said he was pulled for not doing the press conference, Conor has said he has offered and the offer is still there to do the press conference. I don't think he's being unreasonable at all.

I don't get this accusation that he doesn't want to face the press with questions about his loss etc. He was everywhere after his loss, he didn't do a Rousey and go into hiding.

Nate Diaz has now posted on Twitter he is retiring too.

It annoys me when Reigns and Ambrose are used as a success story for NXT. They turned up for a few weeks after The Shield had debuted on WWE TV and they're lucky if they had more than one match otherwise.

When did John Cena go from cheers to boos roughly? Was he being booed on SmackDown and it was being edited out or did it not start till he moved to RAW?

Reason I ask is I remember someone on here saying he was booed on SD before being drafted but on draft night it seems like universal cheers from watching on the Network.

On a side opinion, Christian was great around this time.

Watched the first episode of the E&C Show when it first aired and never watched again it was so bad. Gave other episodes a shot on the back of this thread - it's bloody fantastic isn't it? Just good fun with the least expected references.

 

What were the crowd chanting that rattled Vince a bit? He seemed quite taken a back. Which is mental seeing as he knew full well what he was coming out to.

 

 

Yeh it almost felt like Vince bailed on what he he was actually planning to say.

They were chanting "better than Roman" about Shane.

Roman Reigns looked like a fucking boss acting smug. Definitely agree a heel turn would be perfect.

That's exactly the stuff John Cena says on a regular basis.

 

I actually enjoyed the Funk/Ambrose segment more than anything on the show. Was silly but fun.

 

I have officially given up trying to make sense of the HHH/Reigns 'story'. Hunter gets blindsided by Reigns and was trying to protect his wife but somehow he is supposed to be the heel in the feud? Urgh. Reigns is shit but the politicking reign of terror version of Triple H shouldn't be making a re-appearance in 2016. Bet he lies in bed all night dreaming of his first ever big Mania pop.

 

I disagree on this. It made perfect sense, Hunter gave Reigns a brutal beating, Reigns wants his revenge and Hunter was hiding from him so Reigns went and found him.

I feel sorry for Reigns, this is the way he should always have been booked but it's too late now.
