  1. Have a I missed the news, or did they not do a Slammy version of RAW this year? That's got to be the first time in years, if true.

2007 was the last time there were no Slammys as far as I can see however there weren't any in an 11 year period before 2008.

  2. Triple H v John Cena at WrestleMania is one of my favourite matches ever if you're looking for a match that wasn't gimmicky or didn't include shortcuts. It told a brilliant story and he put Cena over clean as we've come to expect of Triple H despite what people claim.

  3. WWE are so hard for Charlotte, I wouldn't count on it.

The cretins exposed themselves again with Neville's excellent heel turn.

    "Thank you Neville"

Fuck off and die, you cunts.

To be honest I was thanking Neville too. The greatest thing to happen to a Cruiserweight division since Velocity. The Cruiserweights have fuck all going for them, they can put on a flashy wee match but nobody actually cares about it. Neville showed some character and opened the door for fans to actually give a shit about the Cruiserweights.

  4. Sasha has just been built as a shit champion who has lost on every first title defence. She could've held on for about her 4 seconds. Good feud but glad it's over. Let Bayley challenge now.

Tag title match was good. Really enjoyed that finish. Like in football terms, that was out of the training ground.

Sami and Braun told a good story. Neville had a welcomed return. Overall, it was like a good episode of Raw.

Bayley will challenge at Mania and take Charlotte's PPV singles record.

  5.

That all seems reasonable to me, quite honestly. There's sound logic behind each item.

Absolutely, I don't see a problem with this whatsoever. Some indy promotions should have something along these lines in place. They should also add something in here about only one superkick per show. Interesting to see D-Von is a producer, I didn't know that.

I'd take one superkick per match for a start...

Maybe Bubba's sitting out his no compete by the phone waiting for Bully Ray's summons back to TNA. I reckon he could still have a decent singles run. Stick the US title on him and let him get Reigns over.

He can't be on a no compete - he's appeared on PPV for ICW.

  6. Just got round to watching this last night, it was a decent show. My favourite part was by far Jack Gallagher declaring his intention to interfere in a match - absolutely brilliant way to portray his gimmick.

I still have a problem with WWE TV in general though even though I enjoyed this show and I realised last night what it was. I can miss any RAW or SmackDown and yet not really miss anything at the same time. I guess that's the way WWE probably want it to be as they want new viewers to be able to jump in and understand what is going on but other than Goldberg recently and the draft, I struggle to remember any "can't miss" episodes of RAW or SmackDown this year.

  8. SportsMania is far better than any of the free illegal streams other members are discussing, it's way more reliable, and far better quality - HD in some cases. I don't have it as I have a zgemma box anyway so don't require a stream subscription service but I have bought a month before previously to see what it was like and it's worth every penny. I'd chose paying £6 a month to that for their HD streams of every channel than frittering about with Sports Devil to find something that doesn't have pixels running through it and needs refreshed every 5-10 minutes. SportsMania also put any game or UFC event into an OnDemand section afterwards so if I miss a match and want to watch it in HD that night then I can go in and get it within 2-3 clicks.

It's seems to be getting slagged off here but premium IPTV is the future of piracy, calling it now that it will be massive soon and start taking over things like card sharing when that comes to an end. It'll be the new primary method of stealing Sky once they replace all their old SD boxes to make card sharing no longer possible.

  9. How long does it take to set everything up before a cruiserweight match on Raw? (I'm talking mostly about the purple ropes). Could that play a part in deflating the crowd before the match even starts?

At the live RAW in Glasgow, Sin Cara made his entrance and had to stand outside the ring for a few minutes because they hadn't completed it.

It's a pointless task, complete waste of time.

  10. With all the current abuse scandals coming out - does anyone think it's likely they will go after wrestling at some point? There's a massive story sitting there for any media outlet that wants it I reckon. Then again I don't know about the UK scene, and our media may not be interested in the US side of it.

  11. Probably one of those click bait articles on ESPN but apparently Conor didn't take kindly to being asked about supplements for the first Diaz fight. He was meant to be taking something that will be added to the banned list next year. As I say probably clickbait cack. Plus I couldn't see a date for the article

    http://espnmobile.co.uk/mma/conor-mcgregor-denies-steroid-accusations-twt/?adid=BTS&sxid=c3nvgmenphrc&tid=3244383036796759767143414262736a44576254687965455a6256714d586951

I'm in work so can't look but if it's what I seen and clicked on from Facebook the other week, it's pure clickbait. It goes on to advertise and offer free trials of the supplement in question as well as discussing how great the supplement is for weight loss.

  12. I don't get how Rusev is supposed to be the bad guy with the way they're using Lana at all. Roman wrecked their wedding and got her upset, Rusev was defending his wife's honour as you would expect. Enzo now hits on the mans wife continually and he beats him up for it - how is that a heel move?

  13. You are saying it as if a minority are booing him, he is majorly booed by over 50% of the arenas. Are you planning to chuck out half your crowd every show? It's a damn good way to destroy your live attendance figures - who is going to want to go to a show where they need to do what they're told?

  14. Just start wading in and throwing the folk out who are booing him for no reason and spoiling shows. Would happen at any other type of show and would hopefully start to lift the stupid sense of self entitlement these pricks have to ruin other people's enjoyment of shows. Reigns is fine as he is.

You can't start throwing people out for not cheering and booing who you want them to. You'd have no fucker want to come to the shows.

  15. its a bit shit to be honest and its a bit shit to see jack Gallagher back cant stand him he has jobber writen allover him

have to say im not a fan of noam dar either

but on the plus side we have austin aries and he will make it fun viewing when he get back in the ring

That's the first time I've ever seen Jack Gallagher and he was the best thing on the show. The only Cruiserweight I've seen actually get the fans into a match since the return of the division.

  16. I wouldnt mind if that's how it is these days. "Yeah, its bullshit ... but its also REAL!" I remember those Fab 4 interviews being pretty fucking ground breaking at the time.

The difference in kayfabe from years ago to now is pretty mad. Read an interview with DiBiase earlier today where he said Vince used to give him money to just splash about and he would go into restaurants, pay for everyone then send WWE the receipt just to keep up the character.

  17.

Unreal promo from Drew tonight. Easily one of the best wrestlers on the planet just now.

    That was incredible acting.

It was decent, but the angles a bit played out now. Whenever a wrestler stands in a ring and announces his retirement, I'm just waiting for the swerve. Blame Mark Henry.

Hell of an Attendance number there, well in ICW.

It's not that played out, it's only happened once. He wasn't announcing his retirement either.
