I've had them from Aldi a while back now, maybe in 2019 and yeah they are sure up there in heat. I remember them still being enjoyable though, where are they being sold now?

They occasionally have them in the random seasonal selection at my Lidl, only place I've ever seen them. They do a cayenne one too that is really nice and very spicy but those scorpion chili ones are intense.

The new salsa McCoy's are nice. They've got a nice hint of a warmth to them.

I really like those, they've got a nice heat but also have an interesting fresh flavour to them, like they do taste a bit tomatoey and stuff, not just heat.

Not massively into Pringles as a crisp with that whole reformed potato gimmick but might have to give them a try. I love a spicy crisp.

Have you (or anyone else) tried these? I love spicy stuff and these are almost certainly the hottest crisps I ever had.

  3. Air is literally just people in boardrooms talking about Michael Jordan. Can't complain cos it's what I expected and it was watchable somehow. There's lots of good 80s music in it too.

I guess I really will watch anything with Ben Affleck in it.

I loved Renfield but it really is my bag, Nic Cage was amazing as Dracula. I love offbeat horror comedies like Beetlejuice and Death becomes her and it had that vibe with added kick ass/kingsman extreme OTT action and gory violence. Hoult was well cast but Cage was something else.

a family comedy that wasn't too childish for the adults or too serious for the kids.

My son is 7 years old btw, so anything suitable for that age.

I really liked john cena's firemen comedy Playing with Fire. It's quite childish but john leguizamo and Keegan michael key add a bit of quality and you get to see big match john.

  5. The Pope's Exorcist

like a nicolas cage film it being good or bad isn't really applicable. Russel Crowe elevates an identikit exorcism movie with a bit of fat marlon Brando wackiness.

Russel's mode of transport is a vespa scooter, seeing him at his heaviest in full priest gear putting around on a little scooter is worth the price of admission. The scooter was Russel's idea.

Also he does a funny italian accent and Franco Nero is in it.

  6. Al Jaffee of Mad Magazine has died at age 102. He's a legendary cartoonist, I've been a huge fan my whole life.

He created the famous back cover fold in and snappy answers to stupid questions if that means anything to anyone

    Dungeons & Dragons:

There's plenty of easter eggs from the game

    Spoiler

I was elated to see the kids from the 80s cartoon in the maze scene briefly, instantly one of my fave easter eggs ever, I love that cartoon.

Also enjoyed Michelle Rodriguez having hairy pits, about time a barbarian woman wasn't improbably well groomed.

With Brock, I think happy-go-lucky-cowboy Brock has reached his sell-by date, so vicious wrecking machine heel Brock coming back is fine with me.

Hope we get vicious heel cowboy Brock doing his own promos and acting crazy like he has been as a face, not silent killer MMA brock.

Brock is my fave and the feud I wanted to see most is Cody v Brock so I'm not upset. Admittedly I thought it would be for Cody's title in a few months but its certainly gonna keep cody busy and at the top of the card.

Wonder if we'll get any kind of satisfactory reason as to why Brock attacked him.

I'd forgotten about this, cheers for the reminder!

Adam Scott was so good this series, I always liked him enough but it's as good a performance from him as I can remember.

There's a revival of Party Down

This finished yesterday if anyone wants to catch up. I thought it was pretty great all things considered.

He was superb in The Harder They Fall, too, highly recommend that. Cracking western.

I finally got round to watching this late last night, I loved it, thanks.

Majors was great and I really like Lakeith Stanfield as well but the plucky little twat who fancies himself the quickest draw in the west stole the show for me.

I really enjoyed how the set design was very basic and bright and colourful, it was cool and timeless

    Spoiler

And was hilarious when they went to the "white town"

Someone genuinely fell asleep and was snoring a couple of seats down from me. I was about to wake him but I fell asleep too before I got the chance.

I didn't have time to get bored cos it felt like one of the first films I've seen in ages that wasn't 3 hours long. That was another thing I liked about it, think it was done by 90 mins.

Edit: speaking of which apparently the new John Wick is pushing 3 hours which seems like overkill

  13. 65 over delivered massively for me. I wasn't expecting/didn't know much going in but I was happy to be watching a random sci fi b movie the likes there aren't enough of anymore. I ended up pretty much loving it, especially the last act. Really glad I saw it in the cinema too for some of the VFX and sound.

It's my mate Daves birthday today. March 9th is also the day that the Notorious BIG died.

For the past 20 odd years I message him every birthday with "RIP Biggie" and he STILL loves it and it makes us both laugh like silly little kids.

Really cheers me up to know he appreciates it.

I used to work with a young guy whose birthday was on july 7th. The first time I asked when his birthday was he made a joke that it was the same day as the London bombings (which never would have occurred to me if he hadn't said it).

After that on his birthday I used to reference his joke and say happy London bombing anniversary which we always laughed at.

Then one time years later he invited me out to celebrate his birthday with a group of his friends. I turned up and said happy London bombings anniversary and he acted really offended in front of his mates and said that I was out of order and it wasn't cool to say stuff like that.

  15. Watched ant man 3 and creed 3 Jonathan Majors double bill, he was the heel in both and was so different in both and was also the best thing in both, he's really good!

    Cocaine bear

    massive spoiler, don't read casually

    Spoiler

Really fun and automatic 10/10 for letting the bear live at the end.

Puss in boots was great, puss himself is really cool and has loads of character. That "favourite fearless hero" song has been in my head all day
