It's called The Invisible Man. How could you approach that film and not think it was going to be about an invisible man.
When I was about 11 me and a friend went to see a film called The Playboys cos we assumed it would be full of naked chicks like the magazine . We were not impressed when it turned out to be a slow Irish period family drama.

Can someone recommend me the best cartoon comic book movies? I recently watched The Death Of Superman and really enjoyed it and want to explore more of the genre.
Crisis on two earths is my favourite one they ever did but loads of them are really good including some already mentioned.

Yeah, old threads with hundreds of pages use more power, it's a bit rude to use the coal powerbutchi has been mining to run them.

Here's a completely mental one that's a bit less overplayed, it's just as bizarre as I remember.

I think Zoolook is a really underrated JMJ album, I love it but my dad was always playing it when I was a kid. This track and video are great

Wonder Woman (2017)
Rewatched this for the first time before the new one and it's even better than I remember, 10/10.
Wonder Woman 1984 (pirate)
This was my most anticipated film for ages and I really thought they'd ace it, there's a fair bit to enjoy but it's very flawed. I thought I'd be the last person to complain a film was too fantastical but the main plot was some fucking nonsense.
I still think Gal is an amazing Wonder Woman and I enjoyed Kirsten Wiig a lot, I just wish the film had been a bit tighter, they certainly had long enough to tweak it seeing as it's been ready to release for a year.
SpoilerOne thing I truly hated was Steve being in a different guy's body, genuinely have no idea why they did that, it was such an incredibly strange choice.

Worst pro wrestler - Matt Sydal
Worst match of the year some boring match I don't remember
Biggest letdown (Anticlimax of the Year) Wrestlemania not trying anything to make up for the oppressive silence of the performance centre.
Stupidest Moment of the Year Matt Sydal fucking up the shooting star press (the only thing he's known for) instantly after debuting

I went on a night out with Rob Feinstein and Christopher Daniels and they ran around saying "I'm circumcised" loudly to random English girls all night which they thought was hilarious.

I watched Unhinged [] he's absolutely massive in this. I think the constant psychopathic sweat he had on during this was real.
Do you think he took the role cos he got to sit down in a car for almost all of it? He probably had a sack of pies on the passenger seat.
One thing I enjoyed in the film was from what I remember
SpoilerHe does outlandish stuff like kill people in broad daylight in busy places, things which would be too indiscreet for even the most hardened horror movie killer.
I liked the explanation as to why he does such unsubtle convoluted attacks without fear of getting apprehended, killed or any kind of reprisal, it was that he just doesn't give a shit.

Mr Danger bemoaning the lack of fatties reminded me of this weird essay on classic Warner Bros fat men in movies I read a while ago, I remember it being bizarre and fetishistic about these obese middle aged actors from black and white films.

Black Bear
Aubrey Plaza is innocent as always but this is dreadful, boring shit. Was hoping it might crack my top 10 of the year, but it's likely to hit my bottom 10.
I've never heard of it, why did you think it might be one of the best films of the year before watching it?

I've been a big fan of how fat Russel Crowe is since I was amazed at his size in the Mummy reboot. It was the only thing I mentioned in my unhinged review on here. It's glorious, I hope he plays a planet one day.

Had no idea Les Claypool from Primus and Sean Lennon were making music together, it's pretty nice, very inoffensive. Les is being extremely restrained. Quite Beatlesy unsurprisingly.

Someone was stabbed to death on my doorstep a year or 2 back. I'm no fan of the police but I offered them some jaffa cakes purely so they'd think I was a nice law abiding guy and be less inclined to hassle me.
