  1. Sammy G and Matt Hardy should never be allowed near each other again. That has to be one of the ugliest feuds ever.

I hate that grass Evan Bourne and was gutted to see him turn up so I pissed myself at him screwing up his signature move instantly, the botch was captured so well too, it was spectacular. Hope they never use him again.

    Marvel cartoons on there chronologically

Do they have the 1982 Hulk cartoon? That's my fave and the most nostalgic for me. What about the early 1981 solo Spider-Man one (sometimes knows as Spider-Man 5000 for some reason) that was really similar to spidey and his amazing friends?

  3. I love the Bill and Ted films and I thought the new one was great. It was adorable with some really funny bits and completely felt like a B&T film to me, Keanu and Alex looked amazing. I didn't think I'd be into the idea of having their kids in prominent roles but I found them really appealing.

I like B&T so much I wanted to pay for it but as far as I could tell that wasn't possible in The UK which seems silly as it made torrenting it impossible to resist.

@Rossman that looks amazing. My Hi-Fi is a reasonably modern one and I don't have an interest in Vinyl, so no record player. Made up of various Cambridge Audio Azur models + Monitor Audio BR2s. The whole system must be at least 10 years old by now, but it still looks and sounds great. Annoyingly however, the DAB tuner doesn't support DAB+.

What music do you listen to?

  5. I think DC played it extremely well yesterday.

I watched loads of the Fandome and they really hammered home the point that there are multiple versions of the characters that are all valid and can even cross over. They then showed a Snyder trailer with all its grandness (after already revealing the wild news about Batfleck and Keaton both being in the Flash), followed by a new Batman trailer that looks like all anyone who doesn't like the "silly stuff" could ever ask for from more Nolan style serious crime Batman.

It felt like something for everyone and mostly all people are taking about today is positive stuff about how well put together it was and how much exciting news came out.

Really looking forward to Black Adam as well.

  6. When I was very small my family went to stay by the beach for a few days. My dad had hired a metal detector cos he wanted to search for treasure or whatever, it was quite exciting but at one point he cut himself on something and bled all over the metal detector and it terrified me. I have never been able to see, hear or think about metal detectors my entire life without instantly imagining the scary bloody metal detector and how much it freaked me out.

Characters on TV who date/marry a copper and then take umbrage that he elects to catch a serial rapist or defuse a citywide bomb when he could be spending time with her.

"Sometimes I think you love your job more than me," she'll invariably say as walks in with the blood of rescued orphans dried on his neck.

This is why I hate Iron Man 3 so much.

  8. It really annoys me when I'm enjoying a pornographic film and every time something good happens loads of camera flashes and shutter sounds go off because they're also taking still images of the scene at the same time. I have to stop watching and choose another title it takes me out of the moment so much.

I've no idea if this has been brought up already but the Netflix doc The Speed Cubers is tremendous.

Cheers, that was perfect for a 2am watch. That Feliks dude was adorable, I wish everyone was like him.

I’d love to have seen it on a cinema screen, although I reckon I would have ended up with severe vertigo!

I saw it at the cinema and I'm scared of heights, it was worse than a horror film.

  11. Showbiz Kids, Bill S Preston's new documentary on kid actors.

I thought it was going to be a probing look at the dark side of child fame but it was more like a light overview of the history and every aspect of child celebrity (including the darker stuff).

Even if it it doesn't dig particularly deep it's interesting because it covers so much. They show Elliott's audition for E.T which is amazing. I really enjoyed the stuff about the child stars of the silent era, toddlers working their arses off making dozens of rough slapstick comedies, wild.

  12. Money Plane. Edge the wrestler is forced by Kelsey Grammer to rob an illegal anything goes casino on a plane. It felt really cheap, not as knowingly stupid as sharknado or something, more like one of Hulk Hogan's 90s films where he's in a crew of soldiers of fortune. It was ok but just felt a bit half arsed.

I enjoyed seeing Denise Richards in it for a minute and was mostly indifferent to seeing Joey Lawrence from Blossom.
