  1. I can't remember what thread people were talking about Jerry Seinfeld being a bad actor in but I just saw this clip of an early guest role of his in an American sitcom and he's shocking. He was so bad he got fired after 3 episodes, it's quite impressive how unnatural he is in front of a camera

Stuck with Community as my late night viewing of choice and just finished series 1 and pleased I stayed with it.

I loved the first series of community but I hated the beginning of series 2 so much I never watched it again, so there's something to look forward to.

  3. I also enjoy Ragnarok for being different. I've complained plenty on here about the marvel movies feeling like episodes of a big tv show so it felt pretty fresh, I love Hulk so also enjoyed all his bits and it was funny when they showed his arse. Probably find Thor himself a bit too stupid and comedic on rewatches of it though.

Taika Waikiki said the following about the next Thor film; Love and Thunder which made me cringe a bit.

“It’s so over the top now in the very best way. It makes ‘Ragnarok’ seem like a really run of the mill, very safe film… this new film feels like we asked a bunch of 10 year olds what should be in a movie and just said yes to everything.”

  4. I don't think I'd want to be stuck on a desert island with Pitcos but on topic without him is lame, repetitive posts about how WWE is shit despite no one seeming to watch it. He was the best WWE devil's advocate, he'd watch it and argue with 8 of those posters at once.

I shall be visiting Sainsbury's tomorrow morning on my way back from the school run, so shall see if they have any of those.

I like dark chocolate, and I like ginger, so this bodes well.

    Did you try them?

    Everything about that was awful.

The complete lack of ANY sound, not a “what’s going on” or angry/confused sounds, never mind of pain.

I actually really liked the Orton horror movie segment but I couldn't agree more about the lack of sound, I can't believe it made it to TV without someone saying 3 wrestlers would probably make a bit of noise being murdered in the darkness. It really marred what was (for me anyway) a pretty fun spot.

  7. These are delicious and currently on offer at Sainsbury's. Having said that they're probably a bit sophisticated for the palate of the average UKFFer who prefers to bulk buy dirt cheap garbage from shops I've never heard of.

American Brooklyn Nine-Nine (halfway through series 3)

He was extremely over the top but I loved Bill Hader's episode as the new captain.  Probably one of my favourite comedy guest spots in years, he was wild.

Can't believe how bad Renny Harlin turned out after turning out action crackers like this for a few years in the 90s.

Driven and his cheap Hercules film are deep cut, very guilty pleasures of mine, although they're both terrible, he also did a Cena film. I had no idea he'd made a Jackie Chan/Johnny Knoxville buddy cop team up film until 2 minutes ago, guess I should probably set my expectations pretty low for that one.

  10. I watched an old documentary on Tarzan films and this cracked me up;

The classic Tarzan actor Johnny Weissmuller played Tarzan in 12 different films throughout the 30s and 40s. The same year he stopped playing Tarzan he immediately started playing another "white guy in the jungle" adventure character called Jungle Jim. He was Jungle Jim for another 13(!) films. The studio then lost the rights to Jungle Jim so he made a final 3 films just playing Johnny Weissmuller in the jungle.

  11. I was thinking about the WWE hall of fame, I know no one really cares about it anyway but having a place other than WWE to wind down your career is going to make putting people in even more awkward.

Until now old wrestlers would either be working for WWE or the Indies/doing conventions and be available to go in the HOF if they were called on, not necessarily the case at the moment.

Using Chris Jericho as an example; if he ends his career being an ideas man and doing commentary for AEW til he dies, presumably they'll never put him in the WWE HOF. It doesn't matter but the HOF is shit enough already without them not being able to induct everyone who belongs there.
