Really? He lives in Chicago. Why would he fly there? Unless he was visiting with Tony in Florida. Which would make this story even more bizarre.Â
He was commentating on an MMA show in Florida

Minions Rise of Gru - finally got round to seeing this, loved the first Minions film and the first two Despicable Me movies but, bar the odd funny moment, this felt a little flat but watchable. There’s a fun extra on the BluRay of Steve Carell and the cast recording their lines and having fun doing so, particularly Danny Trejo and JCVD

Imagine having paid £718 for your kid to hold hands with Gylfi Sigurdson and then having to watch Everton.
Imagine believing that, the club’s main mascot deal is free and picked from season ticket and membership holders aged 5-13

Another from the Bergkamp playbook, set up by some cheeky footwork from Wrighty

Outstanding goal but always a sickener to watch back as we were well on top in that game till Newcastle equalised and then that killed us off, one of the games that cost us Europe in Moyes’ first season

Fucking hell the responses on that, makes you ashamed to be the same gender as those twats, that could be someone’s sister, daughter, niece etc, how the fuck would they feel if it was a female related to them? Gobshites

One of the greatest goals ever shown on C4, by the undisputed GOAT of African footballÂ

Watched the French animated film La Planete Sauvage (Fantastic Planet) this afternoon as I noticed it was on Pluto TV, what a strange trippy little film but very enjoyableÂ

Err is it wrong that I actually kinda like the Barbie trailer?Â

Years old at this point but I just discovered Jamie Oliver's ramen:
Yeah I guess in 2018 ramen wasn't as prolific as it is now...but this is shockingly bad. Roasts the bones, short boil on the bones, doesn't marinate the pork belly, kimchi, undercooked egg, uses soba noodles instead of ramen, and a fucking lime wedge on the side.
Jesus christ.

Having watched the match, there’s definite promo potential for Cody, declaring Roman can’t win without the family, basically goading him into a rematch with the Bloodline banned from ringside. That would still keep him over enough with the fans

Vince has fired round a company email. It’s largely as you’d expect but this was a key quote I picked up on -
Both WWE and UFC will become wholly owned subsidiaries of the new company but retain our separate brands, as well as our leadership teams and headquarters.
So while a new name for the combined entity is in the works, the two brands of UFC and WWE will still be retained. Which I think makes total sense - all you’d do is massively piss off both fanbases and potentially lose money in terms of the brand value they still both represent if you called it one thing.Â
Additionally H retains his creative director role

Triple H apparently opening Raw tonight. He’s brave - could be in for a frosty reception!
Â
Nah it’s his first on camera appearance I think since he opened Night 2 last year (I may be wrong), he’ll get a monster pop as per
Seen it posted that Cody and Roman are facing off again tonight in a tag match, with Cody having a mystery partner so maybe that’s the start to build a rematch for Backlash in Puerto Rico on May 6th

Just got done watching it, purposely avoiding all social media to not spoil anything. What a fucking show, the 4 hour runtime absolutely flew over and every match delivered entertainment wise, capped off by our boys Kev and Sami ending the Usos reignÂ
Night two has a lot to follow but hopefully by the morning we are all celebrating Cody’s coronation as world champion

Fun show I thought, with the right winner in the main event as Bron’s year long reign was becoming a bit tiresome, where they go with Melo’s first challenger I don’t know

I watched it either side of NXT, great show from start to finish. Not watched too much of Shibata before (was he on Forbidden Door last year?) but the match with Wheeler was incredible, wasn’t expecting the title change given the current heel run that the Blackpool Combat Club are on but it was a nice surpriseÂ
The ladder match was great but definitely soured by the sickening injury to Dante Martin, that’s what the 3rd/4th big injury he and Darius have had since debuting in AEW? Just horrendous luck
Athena has gone up a level since winning the Women’s title and the match with Yukazaki was funÂ
I love watching Tanahashi wrestle and he made Garcia look a million bucks in defeat, Mark Briscoe and Samoa Joe was a hard hitter and one of Joe’s best matches since leaving WWE and everything else including the Zero Hour matches were fun sprints

Fuck Rick Steiner and the bellends wanting proof. I and thousand of others fully believe Gisele, it’s 2023 for fuck sake, leave trans people the fuck alone to live their lives freely

The key to defeating Yuka Sakazaki might be a wind machine. Clothes that baggy caught in a breeze and she'd be offski.
I hoped to catch the PPV live, as I thought it would start early to avoid Smackdown/Rampage. Turns out it's starting the usual time of 00:00 for pre-show and 01:00 the PPV.
Willow Nightingale v. Miranda Alize and Jeff Cobb v. Tracy Williams announced for Zero Hour.
Stu Grayson vs Slim J and Konosuke Takeshita vs Willie Mack also on Zero Hour tonight

One of the best parodies they’ve done for this year, up there with the Eddie/Booker Pulp Fiction one from the WM21 build up

But yeah, both casts are just spot on.

So like her Two and a Half Men character (yes I watched that)
