definitely Primark for me as well - always massive, always busy, always ridiculously understaffed,

I can partially explain this bit, at least from my store’s perspective and in general.

Back in September the company went through an overhaul changing the management order so that instead of one main manager, a few department managers and section supervisors on each floor, they decided to move to having 1-2 floor managers and then have operations managers who flitter between floors to answer till enquiries (like changing incorrect pricing, price checks or to solve issues with returns) and doing away with supervisors.

In order to do this, managers and Supervisors were offered the chance to apply for the new roles, offered a redundancy package or be asked to drop back to being floor staff like the rest of us on reduced hours leading to many taking the redundancy and leaving

As far as floor staff go, the stores tend to employ a lot of Uni/College students who either can’t take on extra hours in the week or refuse to do any, they also (at least in my place) put more focus on hiring for weekends when on certain days weekday afternoons are where extra help is needed

    Its definitely Primark for me.

    Always too crowded.

No one puts anything back where it should be so trying to find a particular product or size is a fucking nightmare.

The sizing is all over the place but that's just a complaint about clothing in general really.

Second place goes to anywhere that has staff that actively asks me if I need help with anything. IF I NEEDED HELP I WOULD ASK. FUCK OFF.

And they're never around when I do want help. Arseholes.

Welcome to my every day, on quiet days it’s not so bad but once it hits Thursday and Friday I won’t be able to tidy one of my denim tables without pulling out rolled up tops, underwear, soft toys, shoes, make up or worse drink cups. That’s if the table itself hasn’t been pulled apart, despite all the product being in size order

Keeping on topic, I’ve really grown to dislike CEX over the last couple of years, their trade in valuations are getting worse, their insistence on reprinting covers for movies and games but still charging the same price as the legit ones is criminal and their mark ups on boutique titles are insane, especially when HMV are selling brand new copies for cheaper, case in point they had a copy of the Indicator release of Brian De Palma’s Body Double marked up at £38 at one point, I bought it for £5 brand new off the Indicator website during their sale last month while Amazon and HMV had it around the £15-18 mark

So was it a proper Wargames match or one of those roofless ones? I love a Wargames match so I'm tempted to subscribe for it but they're not getting my tenner if they haven't put a roof on it.

None of WWE’s WarGames matches have been under roofed cages, makes it better imo, especially for crazy high spots

Eye bleeding shite? That's what that game felt like. USA were good but England brought absolutely nothing. I was looking forward to sitting down to a Friday night game but yeah, that was pish from an entertainment point of view. Maybe it's because the last 2 World Cups were so fun but this one seems like it's had a ton of 0-0s already.

Tonight’s game was the fifth, there were only two in the whole of Russia 2018, I put most of them down to being in an early slot but the England game was a typical Southgate preservation shit show so who knows

DIdn't they recently add another masked wrestler to NXT was was rubbish too?  Going to the well too often with this gimmick.

A-Kid to Axiom, the mask still looks bad but his matches, particularly the series with Nathan Fraser have been decent

Let’s not compare someone who’s been part of this community for years to a power ranger please mate. Don’t mean to sound shitty.

I wasn’t? It was more the shock of hearing that then coming on here to find out this news, like a double gut punch

He was ostensibly the face of Power Rangers. He appeared in I think 7 different PR series as 5 different rangers. He was also the lead in the original pilot of VR Troopers when it was called Cybertron. He'd been fighting in MMA, and kept challenging CM Punk to a match, which had potential to be quite a draw, even if it hadn't necessarily been the greatest of fights. It's a heck of a loss to the PR fans, and the show. I would imagine there'll be some kind of tribute in the next series, and Johnny Yong Bosch will probably become their go-to guy given Austin St John's recent legal troubles. Unless they want to reach out to David Yost, AJJ or Walter Jones.

If anything was impetus to start making my way through the show again it's this. Power Rangers was a huge part of my misspent youth. I was shocked to see the news.

David, Walter and Johnny are all coming back for a 30th anniversary special on Netflix next year along with Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley and Catherine Sutherland, unfortunately (for legal reasons) Austin St John won’t be nor Amy but they’ll be honoring Thuy Trang by having a young actress play Trini’s daughter.

JDF had only recently announced he was retiring from the franchise for reasons unknown but he’d been going through a divorce lately amid cheating allegations and sadly it sounds like that played a big part in his death

Tbf it was that hot that Aldo drank a fair bit and thought the fourth official was a pigeon

What's happened to Snyders. I was in Sainsburys today and could not find any. I had to settle for a ripoff effort of the Honey Musturd ones.  They weren't too bad.  Brand name was "Petes".

Poundland do a very good version of honey mustard pretzel pieces called Crackzels, only 75p a bag and very Snyder like in its moreishness, they also do them in Jalapeño and Garlic Bread flavours, not had the former but the latter is very mild and buttery

  10. Always blows my mind, with their debut, that Roman was referred to first on commentary considering he’d only been on NXT TV for a few weeks prior to Survivor Series while Seth was the NXT champion at that point so should have been top billing. Even more amazing was the fact that Dean/Mox was only working the house show loop and hadn’t debuted on TV, though they teased that Dusty Rhodes was stopping him doing so because of his out of control nature

  11. Fucking gutted by that news, the campy Adam West series was my introduction to Batman but Kevin Conroy is the definitive actor for the role, live action or animated. As others have said, reading any Batman comic it’s his voice you hear in your head (the exception being Batman 89 as it’s literally the Keaton version)

  12. Pleased for Pickford and Coady but I’m amazed that Tarkowski hasn’t been given the nod given Maguire’s tendencies to give goals away

I’d imagine Wilson had only got in because of the betting row with Toney otherwise the Brentford man would have gone, not that it’ll matter as Kane will start every game and Rashford will be the likely back up

Kalvin Phillips going is the biggest surprise for me given he’s only played 54 minutes all season for City because of injury

Everyone forgets the scene where he took a legit frying pan shot from Pauline after getting rumbled for "plowing" Mrs Hewitts garden. A true worker.

Sold it just as good if not better than Vince taking the bedpan to the head from Austin

  14. Fair fucks to Roman showing so much for Logan to get him over. Awesome match to cap what was a very good show overall

All the matches delivered, even the Braun/Omos one though they really didn’t need the Wyatt segment

No idea which way they are going to go for the Men’s WarGames match, part of me thinks Bloodline vs Sheamus and his boys, Owens and Logan but part thinks Judgement Day plus 2 vs The OC, a returning Edge and Mysterio

  15. Thought it was a really fun show that really flew over helped by some good commentary from Cole and Graves, particularly during the end sequence of the I Quit match

I’m curious as to what’s next with Bray, Raw looks bloated as is for Monday with the Bloodline showing up, the DX celebration and the Lashley/Rollins US Title match so maybe they hold fire till SD?
