Bit odd that HITC is only less than two weeks away and we only have the 2 Cell matches announced so far, supposedly on Reddit some guy who supposedly has insider news reckons the Bellas will face each other with the stipulation being the loser becoming the winner's PA
Â
Side note, was last night the debut of the Authority's minitron and entrance video? Because up until now from what I've seen Steph and Triple H have been using H's tron haven't they?
-
Only really knew him from posting on here but its still a shock none the less. 37 is no age to go is it? R.I.P Stew
-
If they bring the blind bags over here, I'll be all over that shit even if they will likely cost £2-2.50 a pop like the Lego ones do
-
Anyone been watching the current series of South Park? I don't think I'll ever be able to hear a Lorde song the same way again...
Â
Yes just got done watching last nights episode, love how the 3 episodes have been interlinked so far rather than be all random

Started uploading videos to my Youtube channel, just showing what DVD/Blurays I've been buying. Check it out if you have a spare few minutes

What a bullshit end to the Smith/Abraham fight there. There is no way in hell that they can judge Smith as only winning 1 round out of 12, he clearly had the better of the last 6-7. Might be my Scouse bias but Smith was screwed over big time

I havent seen that match in years but I always thought Davey Boy faling (its like off a platform thing and between that and the rails?) looked pretty legit..
Â
Since we're talking about that match, wasnt Bulldog's dying sisterr there or something? Have I remember'd wrong or was it brought up few times in the match and cut to her in the crowd? Seemed abit unnessisary if Davey Boy was gonna lose anyway? I remmber being outraged as a kiddo, and I never even liked British Bulldog that much.
Â
By all accounts he was supposed to win hence the dedication to his sister during media interviews, then Shawn got wind of it and had the result changed without Davey's knowledge

I've only really been getting some Rumblers, got Rock, Sheamus, Warrior and Mysterio. Warrior and Sheamus were bought in a 2 pack cheaply somewhere while the other two were bought in Poundworld. Noticed today that the 3.5" basic figures that The Entertainer have been selling reduced to £4 are now being sold in Home Bargins for half that. The one in St John's Precinct here in Liverpool only had the Del Rio and Brodus figures though, was hoping they had the Bryan and Taker ones
-
Man looking at the prices of figures and that back then is mindblowing, £4 for a Hasbro then compared to £15-20 for a Mattel now

What's everyone's take on KENTA's new name? Personally I think its bad ass and I love his theme as well

What was the season premiere stuff about anyway??? Don't get that when it's on every week.
Â
Plus the Bella Segment made Brie look like an absolute bitch. What's going on with this fued. Whose now the heel?????
Â
September is premiere season in the US, when the top shows return for new seasons or new shows debut

Just happened to have Viva on after coming back from a day out shopping and they were doing a four hour mini marathon of That 70s Show (first 8 episodes). I've seen bits of episodes here and there when it used to be on but watching them first few has made me want to get every series and just marathon it

Kell Brook has been hospitalised after being stabbed in the leg at an apartment complex while on holiday in Tenerife. Happened around 6am this morning

Rewatching Survivor Series 94 before the England game (bought the 93/94 Tagged Classic set from Ebay last week) and in particular the Submission match between Bret Hart and Bob Backlund. Even nearly 20 years on from that match, Owen Hart's antics as the tearful brother pleading with Stu and Helen to throw the towel in as Bret's locked in the Chickenwing is bloody convincing and I still love how at first he doesn't know what to do after the match is over then just runs off cheering like a total rat bastard, towel in hand

Contemplated getting the Encyclopedia a few times when I've seen it in the Works for £13 but passed because of the size of it, might finally buy it on Friday in Smiths in town if they have any copies left at £7Â

Den of Geek UK have posted their own top 50 Simpsons episodes list just today, think number one is a spot on choice

The only newest Simpsons I've enjoyed was the Lego episode, mostly watch it for the sake of being a fan these days.Â
-
Its not the show itself thats the blunder, I think it was the botched pin early on in the match when Hogan first tried the slam, failed and the ref counted the 3 by accident

I’ve been away for over a week, so my question is: why’s Kane relinquished his mask to The Authority… again?
f
So he can go off promoting See No Evil 2, there's talk of Kane turning into his Jacob Goodnight character from the films as part of the promotion ala No Holds Barred and Zeus in 1989

Got back an hour ago from going to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Did not disappoint, fantastic from start to finish. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Vin Diesel played their roles well but it was Big Dave as Drax and Bradley Cooper's voiceover for Rockett that stole the show. The soundtrack was wonderfully cheesy as well

I don't watch any WWE programming except for WrestleMania on a Tuesday I watch the highlights of Raw on WWE.com. Sorry that I'm bashing your precious WWE, I find my statements to be my honest opinions, but alas with ratings, live event numbers and buyrates on the drop and WWE loosing a fortune...I'm not the only one obviously switching off.
Â
Oh piss off you pretentious twat, if you hate WWE that much then stop watching it, even in highlight form
-
Given the news that's come out about TNA and Spike, one must wonder if Spike will dick TNA about like they famously tried to do to WWE on their last Raw broadcast before the move back to USA, it was working so well until WWE cottoned on to what they were doing and just threw as many USA namedrops as they could to mess with the censor
Â

Don't usually do opening days on films, the only ones I've done are The Simpsons Movie (as I was working at a cinema the day it come out) and the new Transformers film (as I got my first proper payday from my current job), but I am definitely going to see Guardians when it comes out next Thursday

The Video Nasties DVDs are worth it for the trailers alone. I love all the introductions on there, I could listen to Kim Newman talk all day. What a snappy dresser.
Â
Yeah Newman was what made some of the reviews worth watching on the second one, he has a column in either Empire or Total Film where he reviews 4-5 B movies every month
Â
Â
Empire! it's more like 10-20 and yeah he does other reviews too, only reason I keep subs up tbh
Â
Â
Had a feeling it was Empire, nice one patÂ
DVDs and Films You Have Watched Recently 3 - The Final Insult

Finally started my horror month last night and tonight, have only watched 3 films so far as I felt rough as shit due a blocked nose, a pounding headache and dizziness yesterday
Â
First up was the 1932 version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde which was fascinating to watch, particularly for the groundbreaking at the time special effects that allowed Fredric March to transform from the mild mannered and likeable Dr Jekyll (pronounced Jeekal) to the woman beating bastard Mr Hyde. The film ends fairly abruptly but I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen itÂ
Â
Next up was See No Evil, starring Kane which I've held off watching for years as my copy was a hideous mess that had been blatently filmed in a cinema. It's only the third of WWE Studios' movies I've seen, after The Marine and 12 Rounds and imo is a fun little slasher film with Kane playing the killer role to a tee. Looking forward to getting the sequel when it comes out
Â
Lastly was the original 1980 version of Prom Night, which was very enjoyable. Jamie Lee Curtis was coming off the first two Halloween movies when she done this film but doesn't really do much in this until the final portion of the film, it's more focused on the mystery killer and the teens he's stalking over what he saw years earlier. Much like Jekyll and Hyde the film ends abruptly, right after the killer is revealed which is a huge twist
