If you didn't like Crisis on two Earths I wouldn't watch any of the others, it's by far the best one.
I think its more down to the fact, Batman and Superman aside, I'm not much of a DC fan, always been more Marvel. I've heard that all the Batman animated films from Dark Knight Returns on have been pretty good though
-
Finally got round to watching the Peanuts movie last night and absolutely loved it, I have a DVD of all the 60's specials and this film perfectly captured the spirit of those even with the cg animation replacing the more familiar hand drawn
Â
On the flip side I watched a DC animated film today, Justice League : Crisis on Two Earths which, while an interesting premise, was pretty boring to watch in all honesty, the premise of it is a babyface Lex Luthor from an alternate earth enlisting the help of the League, represented here as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter to stop an evil doppleganger group called the Crime Syndicate led by Superwoman, Ultraman and Owlman.

Had to stay spoiler free all day as I couldn't stay up for the show with being in work at 9.30 this morning, well worth making that sacrifice, what a show!!!!
Â
Made up American Alpha won the tag titles, they have become my favourite team by far on either roster beating out Enzo and Cass
Â
The Aries/Corbin match was the only weak match of the night, and even using the word weak is harsh as it was a decent match
Â
Zayn/Nakamura has stole the entire weekend for me, incredible match. This was my first proper taste of seeing Shinsuke in the ring and I want so much more, just hope Sami has plenty left in the tank for the ladder match tomorrow
Â
Loved the finish for the Women's match, put Asuka over massively yet didn't diminish Bayley in any way by having her pass out like a warrior rather than tapping. Heard talk that little Izzy had to be taken out in tears which just proves how much magic there still is in wrestling for little ones, though saw some right cunty remarks making fun of her on the comments section of a news site
Â
Main event was great if a little spoilt by the constant stoppages, little bit surprised by Finn retaining but what a great nod to Wrestlemania past by doing the finish to Hart/Piper from WM8
-
Watched Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies last night then wished I hadn't, Piper was the only saving grace of the film considering his past acting roles. Douglas was a complete annoyance
-
I gave in and finally got Kodi put on my Fire stick a week or so ago and I've been loving it thus far. So much choice to stream on and it looks fantastic on the big TV my sister gave me. Just watching Wrestlemania 14 as we speak via the Watch Wrestling add-on
-
Been watching quite a few films by my usual standards the last few days since I got Kodi installed on my Fire Stick
Â
Live From New York : The Story of SNL - decent documentary looking back over 40 years of the infamous sketch show with plenty of clips and behind the scenes stuff
Â
The Death of Superman Lives - What Happened? - the much talked about documentary about the failed Superman sequel by Tim Burton that would have starred Nicholas Cage in the titular role, very interesting viewing if you are a comic book fan
Â
It Came From Beneath The Sea - fun if at times corny B movie from the 50's about an octopus-like creature causing chaos across the seas
Â
The Blob - Classic B movie starring Steve McQueen, if you've never seen it before then you need to do so as it's a very fun movie
Â
House of Usher - Vincent Price is awesome in this film as a creepy older brother trying to keep his sister from leaving with her fiancé to avoid her reproducting and spreading their family curse. It's based on an Edgar Allen Poe story
Â
Sweet Sixteen - the only one of the films I found a bit boring, it's a by the numbers slasher film from 1983. It will leave you a tad uncomfortable as well as the actress playing the focal character has a couple of nude scenes even though she is playing a 15 year old for much of it

Â
pretty sure roode will go to nxt, nice little debut at nxt dallas
God I hope not. NXT is already like a shittier version of TNA, don't need any more rejects there.
Ahahaha you could not be any more wrong with that statement
-
Eli drake is TV gold bright future imo
Â
No, just No
-
Fuck me that trailer was awesome, they seem to be going for a more simplistic Spidey suit in this than the ones for the Sony films which isn't a bad thing
-
They are doing more tapings at Universal Studios next week I believe
-
Watched an old favorite this afternoon in Ducktales The Movie : Treasure of the Lost Lamp. Still as fun to watch now as a soon to be 31 year old as it was watching it as a kid, one gripe I had though was Sky Movies Disney cutting into the credits with the awesome TV theme playing to show a bloody ad for a different film
-
Didn't get one single laugh out of that trailer, really disappointing, even the CGI looked awful compared to the original films
-
Finally saw Ant-Man last night and really enjoyed it
-
Finn and Bayley were at it again at an NXT house show in Orlando last night, this time they mimicked Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing

Hmmm. The actress in Supergirl does a good to decent job. However I find the acting of Laurel in Arrow and the Dr lady in Flash to be utterly atrocious. Pretty much hate every scene they are in. Incredibly wooden. The Hawk girl actress is pretty bad too. Maybe it's just the nature of these types of shows.
Â
Admittedly my detest for Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) stems from her time on Glee where her character was an even whinier version of Lea Michele's Rachel character.
Â
Laurel gets a lot of hate from Arrow fans tbh, as much as Felicity does, as her character hasn't really evolved much despite stepping into her twice dead sister's shoes as Canary. I don't mind Caitlin on the Flash and she's had the chance to be a villain (which will be on UK screens soon) in the show but I agree on HawkGirl, wooden on Flash and not much better in Legends either
-
Agent Carter has dipped slightly but its still watchable, what's not helping is the fact that in the US they have done double episodes for the past 2 weeks in order to get everything in in time for SHIELD's return in 3 weeks
Â
Arrow is on a major slump this series, Damian Darkh just isn't a great villain at all and the Olicity drama is dragging it down
Â
The Flash has stayed somewhat consistent with the Zoom/Earth 2 plot
Â
Supergirl I gave up on after only 2 episodes as I don't really rate the actress all that much
Â
Legends of Tomorrow is better than I expected to be, mostly for the dynamic between White Canary, Heatwave and Captain Cold
-
Got back from seeing Deadpool before, fucking loved it. Ryan Reynolds has to be the most perfect casting for a Marvel character in film since Robert Downey Jr was chosen to play Iron Man. Definitely putting it into my top 3 Marvel films behind the first Avengers film and Guardians of the Galaxy
-
Thats genius that
-
Theres 3 different views on why that Wyatts/Team Show angle happened in the main event, 1 was the fact they needed to do the 'Kane rises from hell' spot at the end otherwise they'd have the other matches look awkward by trying to avoid the hole in the ring, the sit wasecond is the fact that Show was on the Austin podcast after the show and third was that it was Grammy night in the US which generally kills everything rating wise
-
I enjoyed that Cannon documentary, crazy how much money they lost near the end
-
Back to the topic in hand you will probably be genuinely stunned to know I thought this weeks show was a load of bollocks bar the very good ec3 promo it was almost as if creative sat down and came up with a show to cure insomnia nothing outrageously bad in the Russo sense but nothing remotely exciting either
So very much back to normal for TNA then?
-
Holy crap that Takeover card looks amazing. Probably the best one yet imo
-
Hulk Hogan VS Big Bossman steel cage match is much better than it has any right to be, I used to love watching that one as a kid.
Don't know which SNME it's from, but if you put it into a search on the network it should give you it.
May 27th 1989, SNME #21

Every Clash of the Champions and Saturday Night's Main Event are up on the Network to view if you are looking for a non PPV
Â
Anyone catch the first episode of Ride Along that went up after Raw last night? Fun little show to kill 20 mins, first episode follows New Day in one car and Miz and Ziggler in the other as they travel from Boston to Philly after TLC

Watched a couple of films last night through Kodi
Â
Trainwreck - been wanting to watch this for a while and really enjoyed it. Kinda got a bit of a thing for Amy Schumer who was great as the lead, Bill Hader was good as the doctor she falls for and Cena was decent as the dumb jock in the early part of the film as was Lebron James as an exaggerated version of himself
Â
The Stuff - another one I've been wanting to watch for the longest time. Its kinda like The Blob in that one character can see the danger but noone believes them until it becomes too late. Really fun if you are a fan of that B movie style
