Went to see Suicide Squad this afternoon and for the most part I enjoyed it, certainly kept my interest more than Batman vs Superman did. Thought Will Smith was the stand out of all the leads as Deadshot and his and Harley's chemistry shone bright (I believe he and Margot Robbie have paired off on screen before so that helped). Found Leto's Joker to be super creepy to be honest, like a hideous cross between Cesar Romero's campy Joker and Heath Ledger's psychotic verson, did like the brief nods to the Batman animated series though in the flashbacks. The two things that didn't sit right with me were The Flash suit and actor, not taken to him just yet as I'm a big fan of the TV version and would have liked to see how Grant Gustin would have played the role on the big screen, and Waller being part of the movie universe when

Watched The Killing Joke myself earlier, thought it was decent, though needed less of the Batgirl side of things. Conroy and Hammill are just perfect as Bats and Joker in the way they play off each other

Beyond made up that Finn won but I think they could have done it better by NOT having Reigns and Rollins involved, they built it up by putting the blame on Roman for not bringing the title to Raw so put him in one of the 4 ways to earn his way to the title match, yet Rollins got the fast track to Summerslam despite having 3 cracks at the title in ONE WEEK and not winning any of them. Imo both of them should have been frozen out as punishment

Pleasantly surprised that they went for two face GMs for a change, though I feel they may have only gone for Foley cos of his reality show starting in a couple of weeks on the network. Also does anyone else think it's a bit daft that they've booked a WWE title match 2 days running between two of the 3 guys involved in the title match Sunday?

Loved how the near entirety of last nights show was just for the Balor/Nakamura match, was an absolute cracker

Watched the 1958 version of The Fly before as I'd never seen it, absolutely brilliant piece of B movie goodness

Straight after that I watched an old favourite of mine in the 1986 Transformers film, which is still visually stunning 30 years on. Looking forward to getting the new Shout Factory bluray of the film later in the year

Just watched it, can't tell if I liked it or hated it. This whole storyline has been entertaining though from the clips I've seen. Still prefer WWE and LU though over TNA

 

Been working my way through the Toxic Avenger movies, the first 3 are really fun cheesy films but I'm not digging the 4th one so far

 

Troma lost all of their money and made a crappy looking fourth one to get by. It didn't work.

 

Ah that explains why Toxie looks so different then, the make up work on the actor playing him is awful

Probably one of the biggest roars at Goodison this season when that KO happened, tremendous stuff from Bomber. Got a laugh reading the Twitter comments about his post fight interview, calling him a bell and claiming Haye would knock him clean out if he dropped back to Cruiser level, I honestly think Tony would cause Haye a lot of problems

Back to Dream Team, the best characters were clearly Vivian Jaws Wright and Don Barker.

Fletch was and is a god. Barker was a right bastard though, t'was his bullying that caused Clyde Connolly to throw himself off the stadium roof after a man of the match display

It was a fun interview with the Dudleys on Brunch today.  Sheamus was good on Soccer AM yesterday too.  Unlike when other wrestlers have appeared on the show they usually look lost when the footie talk breaks out but Sheamus joined in.
