Watched an incredibly cheesy sci-fi/horror film called Mold! via the Filmon app on Kodi last night. The acting and special effects were hilariously bad, like something out of the late 70s/early 80s so imagine my shock that it actually came out in 2012!!!. If that wasn't enough, the cover of the DVD release makes it out to be a much better film than it actually is with post apocalyptic imagery 

Goes without saying I have nothing but huge respect Ricky for both you and Saraya, can't imagine how hard it's been seeing the reports come out almost daily about Paige and not being able to do much about it but the whole family has my best wishes and I hope we see her back doing what she does best in the ring soon

Rewatched the Roddy Piper documentary earlier for the first time probably since I got it on DVD some 10 years ago, as it was part of the new Piper collection.

Also watched the WWE v ECW show that aired the week of One Night Stand 2, which is still a decent show but my god the constant bickering between Styles, Taz and Lawler is grating especially as JR gets lost in the shuffle by being the only pro out there. Forgot that they'd pulled the Show turn here as I was sure it had been on the PPV itself and Foley's promo after the Edge/Dreamer match is one of his best. 

Has anyone seen the Marvel True Believers comics in shops? Or are they strictly an web exclusive? I ask because the look amazing value at 65p an issue that reprint classic Marvel stories including Spidey's debut in Amazing Fantasy #15

They are the same scale as the Hasbros, seen reviews of them when they came out in the US that put them side by side with the old figures

A new Deadpool series has been launched this week (I think thats right) which is a sequel to the Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe story arc. Came across the first issue purely by chance when I was in one of the two comic stores in Liverpool City Centre after work yesterday and picked it up as I had the graphic novel of the original arc and loved it. Looks to be as batcrap crazy as that storyline with a shock reveal as to who is behind the manipulation of the 'Merc with a mouth this time round

Binge watched the entire series this afternoon, really enjoyable show helped by the short episode run time. Loved seeing all the wrestler cameos, especially Kong's character and marked out for the fact that Daniels was wearing his Curry Man pants for the match with Kazarian

Finally got round to watching The Lego Batman Movie this afternoon, really enjoyable film but the first Lego Movie still shades it for me though I loved the interaction between Will Arnett's Batman and Zack Galifianakis' Joker

Also watched Doomed!, the documentary about Roger Corman's Fantastic Four film that was made but never officially released. Fascinating documentary, you could see a lot of anger in some of the talking heads when talking about some of the incidents that went on with that production. One guy really lays into Stan Lee at one point and you see handheld footage of Stan talking about the film at a con in August 1993 with a blurb stating that both Stan and Avi Arad refused to take part in the documentary

Then again Glasgow is one of the best cities in the UK, I can understand why the prices haven't been lowered. Speaking of B&M, what a Pick N Mix they have. The one in my local is behind a wire rack and it's facing down the aisle. You've no idea how many blocks of fudge and fizzy strawberries I eat before filling my tub up. Then the milk cola bottles if they have them. Great stuff. Then you have your 3 cans of Pepsi for £1, The cinemas can't compete, I'd support them if they were smaller chains run by regular people but it's all these big companies and it's all about money. To this day I still can't believe what I'm seeing, grown men and women standing in line like cattle waiting on their overpriced hot dogs and ice cream. I could understand if they had kids, maybe the kids want a day out and it's pay day and you want to treat the family but all those morons that wait to pay £7.50 for a drink and popcorn and £3.50 for a wee tub of ice cream, go and sort your life out. Go and look in the mirror and get your priorities in order and stop giving them that kind of money for ice cream and drinks and it's over £3 for a hot dog. People these days have too much money.

Like I said, USA made the call to have the show go 3 hours, WWE went along with it as they both make profit from the extra ad breaks. It is the same reason WCWs ratings went in the crapper when they elongated Nitro then later Thunder to 3 hour shows on the Turner networks. Like it or not but TV networks are a lot more powerful than the shows provided to them, be it hit sitcoms, animation or Wrestling 

WWE know the 3rd hour ratings suck, despite having PPV caliber matches most weeks but they can't do much about it without running it by USA first.

Never because its USA who wanted the 3rd hour, only way it will ever change is dropping back to two hours but that won't happen until WWE switch networks or broadcast it themselves on the Network which could be a way off as USA pay good money for the extra ad revenue they get while the show is on

That tag title match was fantastic, my favorite spot was Dawson and Gargano doing DIY's Knee/Kick combo on I think Akam then Ciampa and Dash doing the Shatter Machine on Razar. 

What's everyone's take on the new look titles? Personally I love them, with the slight edge going to the Tag Belts

Yes at the tapings, the episode he debuted on airs tonight on POP. Ditzy always posts in kayfabe rather than reality when it comes to TV, like for a debut or title change even if it's been common knowledge for weeks/months

 

He's been on TV for the past 2 weeks, both times in matches.
